I also like that it burns around 1,000kcal per workout, even though they're only about an hour long. I need to do more research to better verify that kcal burn, but that is what I've found so far. I will burn 1,200kcal an hour on the elliptical at the gym, and doing anything else like the treadmill just doesnt offer the incentive for me because I feel like I burn so much less with the same amount of strain. The MIO workout is more comparable, so I dont feel like I am wasting my time- AND I am building strength in more muscle groups.
ALSO, let's say you loose two pounds. that medicine ball IS two pounds- and if you are feeling like THAT is a challenge to carry around during the workout, imagine how unhealthy it is to have 10 or 20lbs extra. That idea keeps me really motivated to get two more pounds off. I imagine I am dropping medicine balls. >.<
