Had me at the stealth Alchemist GPU—hopefully that would be uncloaked soon.
$ 1450 for a banging home theater PC? That's a bit much for a segue to new content 😀
Nice Intel, Nice… you built a secret staff hole into the 12th Gen
Man, way too much advertising in your video, it's a pity because the content is valuable.
I use an older NUC as a home entertainment system. Added an IR remote/keyboard and it's perfect. I'm thinking about replacing my full tower with a new NUC when I upgrade to win 11 this year. Any feedback on newer EGPU with NUC?
have someone tested it with 3080ti? why is this videocard not listed in compatible hardware on official site?
Some these mini pc's im seeing seem able compete with likes of consoles and steamdeck. Is their advantage of these pc's being more compact than regular pcs?
I see how this could be useful in like a tiny house or something, though the pc is not the only thing that takes up space.
13 edition does have a better cable management than the 12 introduced in the video.
Can’t upgrade
So no room for a 3.5 drive right?
Bro, 60° with an i9 12900 paired with laptop cooling😳
You are one of my favorite channels! 🥰 Maybe you can give advice….. I bought this PC and installed 3080 TI. But I am thinking about expanding, as I will do the rendering. So after investigating, I found that this little monster can also pull the RTX 3090 TURBO. And now I wonder if I can use the 3080 in Rezer Core X Chroma as an additional card for GPU rendering, because the i9 12900 has 20 PCI-E lines and is TH4. However, will two cards work in 8x mode??? This is a great idea for video! and I think many people like me will appreciate it) I will be very grateful for the advice)
i want this as a gaming pc
Loved this unit UNTIL I had to do a BIOS recovery and discovered you have to remove and replace a jumper ONLY reachable after removing all case covers, then the GPU, then the Power Supply connectors, and then REPLACE all items, then go through recovery process. Then once rebooted do it all again to place the jumper back onto where it was originally. Then again replace all case covers, then the Power Supply connectors, then reinstall the GPU. All because there is no backup BIOS or clear CMOS option. What the Actual Freak.

was a tossup between this NUC and one of the 12 Gen laptops such as the Legion 7 or the MSI Raider or one of the Alienwares. I was taking an older MSI with the 6800HQ CPU and the GTX1060 and connecting a corded RGB keyboard and a 27” monitor. I never intended to run gaming off the battery so I bring the monitor to the motel.
In the end I bought the MSI Raider GE77 and it runs really well and I can use the monitor and keyboard.
Too many gaming laptop reviews focus on the battery where the framerate drops to 1fps if I forget to turn on the brick.
Still I’m tempted to port my old gaming PC to the NUC but that’s like having 6 scoops of ice cream in one bowl.
Can you fit a 3.5 inch drive in there?
So what did Intel do wrong??
I like this, its basically perfect for me, I'd like a couple of 2.5" inch sata slots. When I build my next PC, I will give these a really good look. I'm planning to do a mini ITX build at some point, but this could make the whole process a lot simpler. I live in a small apartment with 2 other people and space is at a premium, so something like this has really got me interested.
Why must they put the daft skull on the front?
