  1. that looks trash lol

  2. LG has its Ultragear OLED that is pretty epic as well

  3. @LTT
We need a best 43 inch gaming monitor video for 2023 😛

  4. A Lenovo tiny PC would be a nice add-on for a second computer

  5. Who the hell can afford £800 for a monitor I mean cmon..

  6. "I can't figure out how this box opens" while not looking at the "how to open this box" in front of his eyes :))

  7. I wonder if he is still using this monitor today?

  8. Ultrawides are most definitely not dead lol Wont game on ANYYTHING else on PC Anyways!!!

  9. $829 on Newegg at time of my post

  10. Is the monitor still working well? No burn and others problem?

This or the A90K? Office work 8-10 Hr days and PS5 play on the side

  11. Linus, as a SupCom:FA fan, what is your opinion on SupCom2 and Planetary Annihilation?

  12. who would have thought, ultrawide AND ultratall equals awesome… while everyone running to spend thousands on gaming monitors i'm scooping up 50 inch smart tvs on craigslist for 40 bucks and soon i will have a 42 display surround cockpit for elite dangerous

  13. *inanimate

  14. Hello Linus it has been a year since you made this video I am curious about the potential burn in. I am someone who games for long hours with static images on the daily and am concerned that this monitor may have a short life span for someone like me because of the potential burn in. Is this a product suited for me or should I consider a different one?

  15. Well this didn't age well 🤣🤣🤣

  16. I tried this before with a different 48"in TV instead just to get a feel for it but ran into a BIG issue.
Personally, I didn't like it, specifically because it's FLAT that the edges look distorted and hard to see.
I would PROBABLY like it more if I had a curved display. At least from my experience 32" is the biggest I could comfortable use until I need a curved display.

  17. A 48 screen just looks like crap on a desk.

Okay a year later and they dropped the price like crazy….. I want a specific monitor for gaming buuut they also dropped the LG C1 48" like crazy!!!! LG C1 it 799.99 and the gigabyte is 849.99 whaaaaat do I doooooooo

  18. It's going for a mere 999.99 right now, and for that price tag I'd say it's a killer.

  19. 11:47 HOW'D YOU DO THAT 21:9 RATIO ON THE 16:9 SCREEN THING? CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN IN SIMPLE STEPS?

  20. Just bought this… Love it.

  21. Anyone use this as a TV as well? I can't see any reason why it would be bad but since I don't own one just wanted to ask.

Soooo…Is the automatic dimming dramatically less than, say, an LG C2? Linus made a big deal about the dimming in that review. I'm having a hard time believing it's significantly less, but would definitely like to know.

  22. The c – port can be used for those hdmi multi connectors wit a c – port in the end and more hdmi connector on the other side

those Pebs at the bottom Just Kill it for certain PC Desk nothing like the middle Plate in the middle

  23. USB C can do hdmi or display port out. Gets you another port. Awesome.

  24. Can you get 4K@120hz HDR with RGB instead of ycbcr 4:2:2 using DisplayPort 1.4?

  25. Price side, this one or LG 48C2 as PC monitor guys?

look at the reflection on the screen…And the size is pretty silly for a monitor…HARD PASS

  26. I currently have a Sony 43-in 120 Hz native 4kTV that plays pretty darn good but wonder if a monitor would give me noticeable results in warzone especially… Any feedback would be greatly appreciated 🙂

For anyone without an OLED that wants to do this I recommend a VA panel and a white bias lighting led strip behind the monitor, it should help tremendously. The bias light will help accentuate a deeper black contrast bordering.

  27. The reason you're paying extra for a sliced off monitor vs a larger bigger monitor is because dpi.

Just picked this up on newegg for 599 usd after discount and rebate. Can't wait!

  28. good day was looking into upgrading to a 48" monitor/tv, can you recommend between the following, keep in mind I dont do much gaming but i browse, view detailed content and youtube etc!
    LG48GQ900, LG48C2, AORUS FO48U, ASUS ROG SWIFT PG48UQ????

  29. POV u get this one year later for $599 on new egg with rebate card….. basically making this a HUGE buy

  30. Linus, please do a round up of monitors that have the built in kvm.

  31. Can you have multiple windows open. And lay them out however you like

  32. I use a 50 inch display, but feel it uncomfortably tall the highest part. Is there any ergonomic recommendation for the use of big displays?. Is there much difference between 48 inches and 50 inches?

  33. Two reasons: Adaptive Brightness Limiter that presents Whites as Greys that Gigabyte does not provide a Disable, and burn-in.

  34. I just ordered this on NewEgg for 800 on sale. Can't wait!!

  35. Rip for your neck and eyes… TV monitor 48" at 60-80cm … Not crédible i dont want to look this shit vidéo no sense

  36. LOLZ I love FAF, its great to see Linus plays it.

  37. Lol I wish it worked like that. 32in 3440×1440 has a higher ppi than a 4k 43in. Just saying

  38. :O you have a supreme commander forged alliance background

  39. Alienware made sure ultra wide didn't die….

  40. I rather get a 4k smart 70" TV and consume content on that and have a 28" inch monitor for gaming. Sitting that close to a 48" screen will burn your eyesight, by the time you're 40 you'll have eyes of a retiree but, since Linus got paid to push this monitor on his veiwers he won't point that out .
I only watch this channel because I want to see the product that other serious channels don't have access to but, I can't take this guy seriously 👌

  41. What is currently the best monitor on the market for gaming? I cannot afford the ARK. Should I be looking for a 4k monitor, or does it matter?

  42. Hi Linus, thanks for yet another impressive video. A quick question, would you recommend this monitor or the FV43U for gaming and watching movies?
