Imagine your drone doing better than you in combat
Emotional damage
The secretive AI control being developed by the Australians is the key to this.
Bunlarda iniş takımları neden kapanmıyor
Those are awesome ideas especially the nose swap. Too bad they cost so much.
Dddddddfddon
"Co-dependent Psychotic Hunter Killer – C.P.H.K" – An entry in my phone contacts for an ex.
Like a modular phone? You can’t even change the battery in most phones these days.
Not impressed, really, i'm not.
The F22 can super cruise and the Loyal wingman is subsonic??????????????
Ace combat players currently weeping
Really important piece of tech for Australia too. Massive place, small population. This is a necessity in every form.
Looks solid, never seen that model
They don't need to be autonomous. Remote controlled would work perfectly. There are private drone "pilots" now who have incredible reflexes and skills.
🇦🇺🤙
Other examples like such a drone, seems pretty cool
Edi from the movie stealth
Also being built in Northern Ireland
the most exciting of this drone is that it looks like a child f35. but its not even from mlockheed martin xD
is this the same as xq58?
"Daisy, daisy, give me your answer do…"

I was thinking of this myself. Long ago. Since the movie with that talking autonomous jet that turned on the makers and then joined forces with the pilot and got blown up in the end. That is what I envisioned. Unfortunately, I'm not at a level to pursue the development of these things myself. It is awesome to see this emerge finally. A lot of these previously scifi like projects are actually making their debut.
So will it help me in picking up chicks at the pub? lol
I love watching this, but I hate that this info is public. Let's our adversaries know what we have
No puedo dejar de pensar que es muy parecido al barracuda EADS de la Luftwaffe.
Is the decaying UK trying to build a great country out of itself? Yes, it's funny!
Let’s get this right: this is an Australian project, built by Boeing Australia and with some American input. The project is part of Jericho, which is a part of the Royal Australian Air Force and not the Royal Air Force, which is a British institution. As far as I know, the RAF has nothing to do with it.
The project is an AI-based system which is designed to operate with humans and not solely under human control. In other words, the drone has a certain amount of autonomy. The first flight took place on 21 February, 2021.
They need to get these things built in quantity…fast!
It's not entirely new. The technology has been around for over 30+ years. So, 3 years would be about right… For the future? Bad azz lasers. Time to get the lead out and move to the 21st century. Bullets? We're still throwing rocks at our enemies. But not just any laser. A laser a F-22, 35 can engage from another platform. A F-16, 18, 15 miles away. Rock on America!
The UAVs of Ace Combat are near.
This was long overdue. Hats off to all those involved. Love Australia.
Problem with all these arms companies is they couldnt hope to produce these en mass in a real war situation. all these toys are nice but once destroyed replacement is going to be both costly and slow.
Today marks 118 years of powered manned aircraft!
Boing stole the f23?
ah sweet, man-made horrors beyond my comprehension
ro-bo plane
3 years, who is kidding who? I know for certain that the concept was proposed almost 35 years ago, but the technology had to catch up to the proposal..
Now if you can nuclear tip the hyper sonic missile you got a nice weapon
How do you get 5 loyal wingmen into the air for every one Hornet or F-35?
Launch them VERTICALLY from cassettes.
No humans to injure with initial thrust!
I see this as the way of the future for the Royal Australia Airforce with its small size that could be doubled, tripled, or even quadrupled in size, and with its interchangeable nose could cover many different roles.
