  1. What about performance with AAA games? Playing indie games is great, but Asus clearly didn't want you to show that side

  2. Linus pretty much ignores the elephant in the room: battery life.
What's the point of 1080p @ 120Hz if the battery lasts 30 minutes?

  3. you cant comepet with the steam deck. at the end of the day software is far more imporant than hardware when it comes to mobile handheld. if you cant back it up with software like the deck or the switch you are not a real competitor to the deck.

  4. The steam deck spoiled me greatly with the touchpads and I'd feel like somethings missing if I use this

  5. What I wanna know, can I play Java Minecraft with mods and possible shaders?

  6. I will not spend over 600$ on any hand held. Phone prices are killing me already. If this thing Is 7 to 900ish. I'll just buy a 7900xtx for my desktop

  7. Anus can go screw themselves with that BS proprietary trash port for external GPUs.

  8. Steam deck does everything I ask plus they are constantly updating,I think ill stick with the deck

  9. If its 650 for a 1tb ssd version it's worth it. But, I already have a steam deck, so my next handheld PC won't be for a few more years yet.

  10. If its not the same price as steam deck it won't sell

  11. And it’ll be twice as expensive and running windows. No thank you

  12. 6:04 why do reviewers overreact with 2D side scrollers being smooth? Of course it will run smoothly, its a 2-dimensional game. Don’t get me wrong its a very good game no doubt, but come on. The real tests are with 3D games man…

  13. I can almost guarantee that this thing will have a $1,000 or more MSRP on launch. imo, if they wanna have their best shot at fighting against the Steam Deck that price tag needs to be a $100 or $200 more than the base model Steam Deck price. Amazing idea! But idk if it'll sell that well.

  14. eh handheld is nice but to me the switch still beats this. yeah its not as strong but the capabilities of simply docking it and playing on your monitor/tv is much better

  15. This looks so sweet πŸ₯²

  16. So I guess it wasn't an April Fools joke

  17. I guess Dave2D was the other person to receive it because he released a video about it on the same day.

  18. What interests me more is the XG mobile connector, I'm super interested in the X13/Z13 laptops, nice to see they are building on this ecosystem!

  19. Your back!

  20. Came from D2D here

  21. but too bad just for the "Rog" name it adds 10-20% price tag.
Look at the graphics cards as an example. Same chips, arguably same components on the PCB's and the PCB's sometimes custom.
I love Rog (look at my avatar) but recently in the past 2-4 years, Rog is exploiting it's name and dedicated customers.

  22. 6:45 linus ? really

  23. I think the most impressive thing about the steamdeck is the software. The fact that valve have used Linux to such great effect is extremely impressive, and I can't see smaller runs of more expensive devices getting the same quality of software and game compatibility. That means it's gonna have to run windows. Which is gonna suck.
