Our new environmental testing chamber can reach temperatures in excess of 50 degrees Celsius, or as low at -40 – the only question that remains is can a gaming computer survive these extremes?

  1. Why isn't Denis in there, doing what Linus is trying to? 😁😋

  2. … thanks Linux to test the pc in Seville temps 😛 49,9ºC XDDD

  3. That's not my grandma's oven

  4. In real world conditions, there can be combo of 40+ Celsius and 50%+ humidity in places in northern India, would love to see a test environment emulating something like that

  5. I live in L.A. and my garage/mancave gets to 120F+ in the summer here, I dont even wanna boot up my pc when that happens lol

  6. I want a pc can u give me one

  7. Didn't expect Jhansi to appear in an LTT video lol

  8. "Can a gaming PC survive the North Pole?" is not given a conclusion because this video did not test that. This video tested "Can a gaming PC survive Linus and Alex with no adult supervision?"

  9. Manuel screwdriver makes it slower

  10. Also Osoyoos gets to 40 degrees

  11. Linus always lets his intrusive thoughts win

  12. -40? so Calgary on the peak of winter or Banff onwards to Revelstoke?

  13. Ya'll should do a video about ortholinear keyboards vs normal keyboards! Either on this channel or on shortcircuit

  14. You need to modify environmental chamber like sandblasting cabinet. Also it will be better to precondition replacement parts insidethe chamber.

  15. just as you said "did it just crash" hogwarts legacy crashed

  16. I want to see a test of the ltt insulated bottle vs generic bottles

  17. Asus ROG Strix gpus have been the best I've ever used cooling wise. I have MSI currently due to stock issues but damn Strix was good

  18. AIO cheating should be air-cooler, if water continually flows or moves it won't freeze like cement won't harden.

You can actually compute what temperature will the water or coolant in the AIO freeze by volume and flow rate

  19. lol, only 49C? come to Australia mate! thats another summer day!

  20. New World record in fastest time to speed run changing a cooler in -40c conditions

RIP those fan bearings are not happy.

  21. All of that equipment when you could have just come out to Alberta during winter and hooked up the computer on one of our lovely decks lol

  22. Forgot Humidity, frost and north pole can reach -80C

  23. If this industrial temperature chamber is designed to hold a temperature at a certain degree then it will act against thermal runaway thus becoming a cooler in function, even if the temp is 49 degrees, it won't allow the system to gain any heat, therefore it's removing heat.

  24. I mean, there are tons of computers at the north pole. Researchers, governments, probably super villains, etc.
There's even a live video feed to watch arctic weather, which I'd imagine is plugged into another computer.

  25. A little advice from someone who uses environmental chambers daily. Shut it off before you open the door. The system is working overtime trying to correct for the sudden change in conditions. That will shorten the life of your chamber and also shorten the time to your first repair. Also, glycol does not work for crap at 100% concentration. The "antifreeze" you buy at the auto parts store is made to be mixed 50/50 with water. What you should do is stop cheaping out and just go buy a bottle of pre-mixed antifreeze. Also, don't get the "low tox" stuff if you are going to very cold temperatures. Finally, what was coming out of that bottle looked in no way like glycol based anti-freeze. Because you went cheap I'd bet you grabbed someone's half filled bottle – probably just water they had in their trunk for a roadside emergency. Research some of this stuff before you try to make a half-baked video and destroy a bunch of equipment.

  26. I bet the air dececant is for preventing condensation on lower temps.

  27. I want to see if you can bake cookies at 180⁰C on a pc case while the pc is running with enough cooling it might work.

  28. 11:40 best camera work i seen in ages

  29. i hope for a part 2

  30. I would like to see how an AMD FX 9590 and an Nvidia GTX 480 would perform at 50C ambient.
