  1. watched 3 minutes so far and first thing to come to my mind is sue NVidia to ground 😀

  2. Okay the K100 Air price is just dumb. JESUS CHRIST what are they thinking!!!!!! 370 US 🤣😂😂🤣😅😶😒🤨😲😳🥺😦😧😥😢😭😣😞😫😤😡😠🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬

  3. Which should linus trust? Multimeter or digital read out..

Multimeter as it's a fluke lol

  4. The tip to soldering motherboards is to heat gun the area you want to solder then solder it on with a bit of flux

  5. If you're in the middle of an update and the power drops out, it depends which part it's doing at the time. If it's literally in the middle of flashing the bios for example. It won't boot up again after a reboot

The bios chip would need extracting from the board put into a programmed and flash the .hex file and solder back the cmos

I remember a time with dual cmos chips to solve this issue

  6. I got that k100 keyboard. Really good but takes time to get use to.

OMG Linus your exact blank face stare into the object, and the way you had your hands behind your back leaning over the workbench, and reaction to Alex when you said "Uh-huh." @7:46, that's exactly what my late techie uncle Paul would do, when observing my cousin and I working on PC's. You made me have flashbacks dude! 😀

  7. Linus's posture has gotten so terrible over the last few years

  8. You would probably have had better results forcing clockrates in the core tuner. Not sure if Asus Tweak has it, but MSI Afterburner includes the option to mess with voltages and clock frequencies. Unless for some reason the 40xx series no longer has GPU Boost where you can work with the curve optimizer anymore.

Seems weird to have stopped where you guys did. In the video alone we can see you hit around 1.095 volts on the core, I'm sure you could have forced a higher frequency at a higher voltage. Also perhaps using more games than just 1 to see actual impact. Overclocking or undervolting or curve optimizing, all of them, are not flat gains in all software.

    Fun video otherwise, I guess.

  9. 8:22 But what is Jah-veh? 😆 Is that like Canadian for Java?

  10. I wish I could BS my way through a career like Alex.

  11. You suspect the latter. Cmon, Game Responsibly.

  12. I think that's the first time I've been blue balled on a sponsor segue.

  13. you guys should try teardown for your gaming benchmarks. that game can eat up every resource you have

  14. Can I give this video four likes? I love the jank mods Alex does and the electrical engineers trying to make it better 🤣

  15. Is this the first time that Linus's segue to the sponsor got interrupted lmao

  16. Alex has BIS flanels.

  17. Good boss Linus! When I tell my boss it’s a 4 hr job, he usually says, “That’ll take no more than 20 min”

  18. Moral of the story. Not worth modding the bios and overclocking is probably not worth it for a few more frames and less stability.

  19. /oscillimiscope/

  20. I didnt see 1000W, I feel cheated.

  21. You know its gonna be a good time when Linus and Alex are in the shop!

  22. Über eine Million Aufrufe an einem Tag 😂😂

  23. 1GWaaaaat 1000Giga Watsss … Nvida power by the Gooood Of Sunnnn

  24. These guys shop at the same beard store

  25. holey poop that 4090 is a big boy, a complete unit.

  26. But why did they have to say 1000 watt when it's 600? It's already impressive so why do they feel the need to lie?

  27. With the amount of content Linus does with the chiller he could have technically paid it himself a long time ago it would have paid itself very quickly, I didn't count but it feel anytime they do Overclocking CPU/GPU this beast is getting work 🤣

  28. This video was made to benefit who ?

  29. HELP what's the song that is playing in the background at 5:55

  30. 12:45 "Man I remember when they were cool" See that's the thing Linus, they want to stay cool

  31. 4:25 "…my vision's going…", I felt that, Linus.

  32. Ah, to afford a 4090, then be able to risk it, lol. Great vid

  33. What was Linus thinking??? GPU Twerk! Hahaha, hahaha, at 1K watts, I guess that could happen.

  34. 69 likes nice

  35. 1000 watt Video Card , hmm kind of feels toasty lol

I'm glad that unlike 8 years ago when I've upgraded my PSU to a RM650i, this time I went "overkill" and got a HX1500i
That thing has C19 power cable

  36. This was an awesome episode though I need part 2 with a melted GPU
