The pen on the Z fold 4 is way better than the pixel
I am z fold 3 user but i prefer wider cover display
Having had the fold 2 and then the fold 4, I like the thinness of the pixel. But folding flat with a plastic screen will have durability consequences. I suppose there's still a lip, so it should be OK i guess. Pros and cons to both.
Regarding the outer screen width, I get that a lot of fold people want it wider, but imo this would make it less one hand friendly. Choice is good, but this is down to preference, pros and cons to both.
The internal pixel screen looks more plasticy and reflective than the fold, at least on these earlier hands ons, which I don't like. Apple will probably do best in this category when they decide to enter chat (see samsung phones/tabs vs iphone/ipad screen reflectivity).
Also, while I hated the early touchwiz days of my s2 to s7 (HTC Sense on my old One M7 is still UI king to this day imo), Samsung software has come a long way and is now truly a selling point for me. So much functionality that I've gotten used to that I don't want to give up.
Some cons about pixel fold:
1 google doesn't have a good track record for gen 1 products, full of bugs
2 potentially inferior mobile connectivity, if it's anything like p6p and p7p. I have had both phones and they weren't good.
3. lack of pen support
4. Lack of Dex

Samsung will lose this fight only because of the outside screen. Everyone hates the small outside screen including myself, i have the Fold 3. Every other fold makers have a bigger screen because they know thats what ppl wants. I would switch to this google because of the screen size.
im am not a fan of pixel phones but i been waiting for Google to release a folding phone. I already have a SG Fold 2 i didnt want the Fold 4 so this will definitely replace my aging Note 8.

I think Samsung needs to take note about the wide cover screen of the pixel fold. This is one of the reasons i am switching to the Pixel fold.
If you've ever tried Samsung Dex mode it's hard to give that up.
I actually just got my fold 4 few days ago, pixel fold isn't even being released in canada at launch, but nonetheless I am vibing with the z fold, the narrow screen is much better than the 3, also I just made my keyboard bigger and its fine, I also love the inner display as well

The wider cover screen and better inside selfie camera look great. But, it looks like itmight be more difficult to type on the open acreen. We shall see.

I saw no real VS. No (significant) difference between both in this video.
How about if next video tells us (at least 3) difference(s) between both devices, which really new or which other doesn't have, e.g the pen of Z Fold 4.
As a newer device Google Fold has to have 'more' from predecessor, e.g more mAh, faster processor, more x in zoom, etc. But how about something that competitor doesn't have, and it better hardware side, which cannot only be solved by software update π
