I have that phone. It sucks. The first time I dropped it with a case, it craked

I keep seeing mixed screen sizes. I thought that the stylus had a larger display than the power, is that not accurate?

FF & here we are towards the end of 2021….both phones have new/2021 versions & as much of a hit as the '20 g Power was, the '21 g Power is equally (if, not more) a disappointment….while the '21 g Stylus (4g version, anyway) has SOME definite improvements, yet also some regressions: ie, screen quality/pixel density, went from (impressive sounding) dual stereo speakers in '20, to a mono POS in '21, & – could be wrong, but – no Action cam feature for '21(?)….
My G6 is (OVER)due to be retired & after HOURS, DAYS, WEEKS of agonizing, I've decided on these 2 phones, but not just for the overall package/value of each, but ALSO, (with some serious research/combing of the net), I've found opportunities where BOTH can be had for under $175 New, in box (& can be found for much lower w/ Open Box, unused, Like New, Returns, etc type-conditions). My question is: if both at $175 or less, in NEW, UNUSED Condition…. WHICH ONE is the better value? (FYI – I've never owned a phone w/ a stylus, although I've always been interested & COULD see myself using one….but, I'm thinking sparingly, at best, do Stylus really is a non-factor. &, My G6 has a 3,000 MAH battery, so both would be an upgrade there (tho, prior, I had a G6 Play w/ , if I remember correctly, a 4,000 mah, which was pretty freaking amazing, so….better battery life is ALWAYS a factor). I guess for me, what it really comes down to is, The g Stylus having 128gb memory storage (TWICE the g Power's 64gb…my G6 only has 32gb & FSR, DOESN'T like SD cards, so….STUCK at near capacity) AND the g Stylus' SLIGHTLY better camera (was visible in your video & I do like the Action cam feature, however limited….also like the g Power's Macro camera functions, too….SOOOOO🤷🏻‍♂️).

VS, the g Power's 5,000mAh over the g Stylus 4,000mAh batteries (again, both would be an upgrade vs my current).
SO…. ANYONE have any thoughts, advice or recommendations for me? I'd GREATLY APPRECIATE ANY/ALL that could help me decide. Thanks!

(P.S. I'd also SERIOUSLY CONSIDERED the Google Pixel 3XL- NEW, unsealed condition for as low as $199.99 – unlocked, as ate the 2 Motos -, but $ IS a factor….that said, thoughts on dropping the Pixel 3XL into the mix are certainly welcomed. Thanks!)

Got my G Power from Simple Mobile for 99 dollars.

If you could get either for same price which would you choose?

Both phones are great. I'd say buy the power if you want to save $50, but the stylist is marginally better. They're both very similar, the only major difference being the tiny internal flash memory in the power, and the camera is substantially worse than the stylus. The Android OS is bloated these days updating Android on the power corrupted the partitions of my sd card and non system folders updating, but assuming that doesn't happen to you the power is a damn fine phone.

Also the moto g power does not have a 16 mega pixal camera, its actually 8

I have a pixel 2 loved it til the camera crash issue plaguing all Pixel phones hit. I'm now gun shy of Pixel, thoughts?

I still have my Att 3G flip phone and I'm scared to make the move! I live alone and I need to be able too make a call out in an emergency! Consumer Cellular is my carrier and my phone takes a ATT chip! Phone is 180$ new and 3Gigs will be 35$ a month! Do you see any problems I can run into?

For all those suckers who believe you need a $1,000+ phone: I bought a Moto 5 from Costco for $230 which lasted me 4 years, which is less than $60/year. Everything just worked for 4 years with no issues. I really don't see a valid reason to spend more while I don't worry if it gets lost, damaged, etc. My Moto G Power arrived yesterday; this is probably more phone that I need.

Just bought the moto g power with AMC gains lol haven't had a new phone in years and I hope its good for 250$!

Should have mentioned the storage space. Power is 64g, the stylus is 128g I believe. Definitely think that was worth mentioning..

What next for motor g fast

There is a lot to be said about a 5,000 mah battery.

I've had the LG stylo 6 and that phone with the mediatek processor is horrible and a very slow device and the cameras are horrible but I now own the moto g stylus and so far so good with the snapdragon processor and the camera is awesome

I had to laugh there for a moment when you said Samsung Galaxy note 10 for 300 bucks yeah maybe on the black market these stylus phones from Motorola are only going to get better Motorola's a good company they shook things up in the stylus world of phones this year by doing this LG would never have done what they've done if it wasn't for Motorola now since Motorola has sold so many of their stylus phones for stepping their game up watch the phone get better and better at a good price that people deserve.

You did a nice review for this phone, but people who want to know and this is coming from a person who has a Samsung Galaxy note 9 and a Samsung Galaxy note 10 plus. THE MOTO G STYLUS. this phone falls in the middle right where it should be at IT'S a mid-range phone it's not a cheap $50 phone it's a mid-range PHONE THERE IS A DIFFERENCE YOU HAVE CHEAP PHONES MID-RANGE PHONES AND FLAGSHIP PHONES.
