Does anyone know if the echo show 15 have the motion tracking during a call?
My teacher. I have the same device and I have a problem. When I connect to the device via the mobile application. The whole camera does not appear on the screen of the device, the video display shows only part of the screen. I want full screen. how

Got this a week ago for$69. Have it in my kitchen. Still experimenting and learning all the functions. Lot of fun figuring stuff out. Good sound for music. Would like to be able to install apps. There are times I have to say the wake work 2or 3 times to wake it up. I tried tweeting the settings so just my Amazon photos rotate but other stuff and recommendations pop up in between which is annoying. Hopefully Iβll figure it out. I also would prefer a different web browser than silk.. used it today for a new recipe for prime ribs and after a while it went back to my Home Screen and I had to say βsilkβ to get back to the recipe which was right where I left it before. Not perfect but cheap enough and fun enough to play around with.
I just purchased this unit. Not pleased with the response of the touchscreen. The OS is slow. Is the Google Nest hub faster, more responsive? I think I'll be returning my unit

Is this device good for a visually impaired person to see an incoming call (caller ID)? Also, can you use this device to call out with numbers?

I wanted to learn more of what it can do, enough already w the movement. So what else does it do?
I'm surprised none of the reviews talking about how horribly slow this device is. I can't believe that Echo product line's QA allowed to release this product to the market. It is so slow that it gets you frustrated in no time.
I bought two of the Echo Show 5s (2nd Gen) and they're pretty good: great sound, Alexa is awesome, and they work with my Ring doorbell. The configuration is horrible though. They do random things like flash the home screen on one but not the other even though they're configured with the exact same settings. And don't get me started on the horror of trying to simply change the home screen desktop. Why is the UI/UX SOOOOOO bad?!
I mentioned my Ring doorbell so I should address that too; the setup is a damn nightmare. If the Echo Show software is a dumpster fire then the Ring software/setup is the Great Fire of London, the Triangle Shirtwaist Factory fire, and the Great Fire of Rome rolled all into one.
I'm a systems analyst, I design and build computer systems for a living, and it took me three hours to get everything up and working because the instructions are wrong, contradictory, outdated, and poorly worded. And don't bother trying to Google help because there are so many changes that nothing is consistent and you'll be trying to find something a site says to do but that option doesn't exist anymore or isn't were it used to be.
Beware! If you want to use this with Tapo cameras, the live view runs at about Β½ speed video, while the audio can keep up. You'll end up listening to live audio but the video will be very far behind. It's also not able to show HD quality of the Tapo camera, and the frame rate is much lower than using the Tapo app. Amazon could fix this by adding the Tapo app to the device, but that probably won't happen.
