I have a 6650xt and I get over 200 fps on Apex. I'm sure the newer card will do just as well.
In the nVidia benchmarks, they literally admitted that you can't max out all games in 1080p with 8 gbs of vram.
AMD Radeon RX 7600XT is Dead On Arrival. Period.
If it had been me in charge the 7600XT would've been:
Dual slot design
GPU Dual 24 CU Compute cores with 3x MCM memory chips
3,072 Total Unified Shader Engines
192 Total Texture Mapping Units
96 Total Rasterizer Output Processors
48 Total Ray Tracer Cores
256bit multi-channel memory bus
96MB Infinity Cache
48 Combined Total Compute Units
2,000Mhz Base Clock
2,600Mhz Game Clock
2,800Mhz Boost Clock
2,600Mhz Memory Clock
16x PCIe Gen 4 Lanes
16GB GDDR6 graphics memory on 256bit main bus.
3x Display Port 2.1
1x HDMI port
1x 8pin Power Connector + 1x 6pin Power Connector
Triple 90mm fan cooling with 4x Copper heat pipes with vapor chambers passed through copper heat slug and full length aluminum heat sink with full contact cooling for all memory and VRM cooling with full length metal backplate
$229 MSRP.
THAT is what I would've released for the Radeon RX 7600XT reference model. Not the pipsqueak they're looking to launch now.
And yes, the card I suggested would've retailed for $229.99!
That card would sell.
You know it.
I know it.
Everyone knows it.
Only Nvidia users wouldn't buy it because it would be blasphemy to do so. They'd still buy the $400+ 4060Ti and still believe they got the better card.
So yeah, even at $229.99, my suggested card is still overpriced.
OK, fine,… $199.99!
For 48 RDNA 3 Compute units with 16GB GDDR6 256bit memory with a screaming fast 2,600Mhz game and memory clock? Only $199?
Yeah, with that AMD would actually capture,… a little bit of market share from Nvidia. I'll be generously optimistic and say about 6% market share gained.
After all, Nvidia has a monopoly. Good luck fighting that!
I wanted to change my gpu as it's now ancient (gtx 750 ti) for a 3060 but couldn't earlier, so this might be the one that I take.
Also it's gonna be used mostly for gamedev and UE5 loves VRAM, so I better take the 16gb version in july I guess ?
Geez 400 is budget😢
Don't let Nvidia drip feed us this crap like we're idiots. A lot of buyers are holding off now, myself included. The price is only locked once a buyer pays. Don't do it.
AMD's pricing is good considering how their prices fall in first few months
Where will this card release?
I got tricked by the thumbnail that you already have 7600😢
everyone complaining about prices
amd should have priced x at y
nvidia should have priced W at Z
shut the fuck up and don't buy it.
they price them that way because you mf keep buying them or just complaining about it. (which is still free ads, to them)
everyone knows X brand is overpriced
Big Name Brand doesn't care about words just money.
the only way they actually lose profit if you stop talking about them.
you now those people who don't like listening to other people?
DON't DO X because Y.
those mindless drones will do the exact opposite of what you just said just because you mentioned it.
don't talk about em, brand actually loses profit; THAT'S when prices actually come down the moment they lose Relevance.
Goodluck getting one of these cards at those actual prices. 3060s are still selling retail for that much Lol
Rocking a 4080. Upgrading will not be in my vocabulary for years to come. 😊
1660 ti man I still have a long way to go with you man. (dlss is a fake technology. Definitely don't use it and thank me.)
4090 is the budget king imo 🤣🤣🤣
Nvidia is struggling, look at the price gap between 4060ti and 4070
Seems like a marketing scheme to me
why on earth do they keep making 8gb vram cards. They can at least make 10gb vram cards like the 3080. They keep on thinking this will do them good so you have to pay a lot more to get what you need. Personally 60fps is more than i need in most story mode games and i'm not much of a competitive player. I think most people just need the best graphics quality(rtx included) in story games which you won't get even at 1080p in all games and btw THIS IS NOT DOING THEM GOOD
To be fair, NVIDIA has put more time and effort to refining their software compared to AMD so it will be interesting on how both GPUs will perform under the same conditions assuming the hardware performance is going to be relatively similar
Will the 3070 go down in price
My England, proper dialect is very raw but I believe the saying is "He is a cheeky little fellow."
YESS
Could get a 6800 for the price of a 4060
You are talking nonsense, you know that vram is now a major issue.
Consoles are there for a reason
Currently have Aorus 6800 master. Doubt very much I will upgrade this gen. Its a skip from me most likely.
Im kinda worried for my 3080 10gb
Yep, it’s called inflation.
I'm currently using a Radeon 260 (something or other from 2013). I'm in the middle of a build using a 4090. I'm expecting to be blown away!
4060 ti with roughly 15% faster equates to what? 10-15 more frames. Which most likely are fake frames mind you.
Nvida told us all to suck on their dlss. Can't wait to see these sit on shelves.
The 4060 is literally a 3060 ti😂
The happy thumbnail does not line up with the comment section. The whole 40 series is a bust. You could maybe make a case for the 4090.
RX 7600
Considering the the 4060 is a 4050 the MSRP should be closer to $250
