  1. Any tips on placing screws back in the phone?

  2. Apple's a joke. How much I h@te this company

  3. For an iPhone SE, if you have the skills and a few basic phone repair tools (pentalobe, phillips and tri wing screwdrivers, tweezers, and some opening tools), you can buy an aftermarket screen and do the repair for much less. You'll likely have to move the touch ID sensor and speaker/mic/selfie camera array from the damaged screen to the new one. For higher end phones like the 13 and 14 series, the parts are often cheaper from Apple than anywhere else.

  4. I replace the acreen on my iphone 13 pro max bow when i turn on phone i get diagnostics screen and boot loop there

  5. But all I had to do is jüšt head back ur home button . Or jüšt buy a icopyer for truetone.

  6. is my dad will fix my iphone 😁

  7. Do they need my password when fixing my screen

  8. Your first step of putting it into the normal display removal fixture without first using the “heated” display removal fixture is already wrong.

I am a certified Apple technician and this is exactly why consumers should not do self repairs for the most part. They do no read manuals. The way you opened the phone was rough to see as you could’ve damaged so many things using a black stick to just pry it off.

  9. So it comes with a touch id,, if my touch id doesn't work, can i order the lcd and then system configuration will make the new touch id works with my phone?

  10. After all that I never want to replace my own screen. Rather someone else do it. To much can go wrong

  11. Apple really doesn’t want people to do self repairs. Total cost is more than dropping it off at the Genius Bar

  12. So what i get out of this is its more expensive to fix it yourself than with apple… whats the point then

  13. Sod that I'd just take my phone to Louis Rossmann in NYC for repair rather than pay apple's extortionate prices, well I would if I had one but I refuse to buy a status symbol, for me apple products are this century's version of a thick gold chain with a giant medallion.

  14. 😮 the price

  15. Can I have your newly replaced SE?

  16. Whoa $1400 and a FBI looking box just to fix the screen I’d just have apple fix it lol

  17. Watch Jerryrig videos first

  18. Just made the phone more easy to repair. Most cell phones have the battery to replace or the screen to replace . Make better Battery's Apple And no one will have to open them !!! Imagine a few screws to remove the screen on each side of the phone without having to heat it, and in 5 min is done with only one screwdriver !!! I think they do it very complicated to discourage people from touching their technology but in Your phone !

  19. Apple needs more money for their toilet paper.

  20. Lame lame lame

  21. i would never let this guy fix my phone

  22. 13:03 too close to braking that new display

  23. What a JOKE iPhone 12 is the older Dr you can order parts for . Makes ZERO sense …

  24. this is giving me verge pc build vibes

  25. deposit thing is a bummer

  26. It’s a step forward in the right direction, but there’s so many unnecessary parts and fees that would sway the average consumer to just send it in to Apple.

  27. Very, very interesting and helpful.

  28. He’s funny 😆

  29. I've dropped my Android phone so many times that I'm now getting this small but growing black line on my screen that you can tell is a digital error.
Does anybody know if this thing is going to keep on growing until it wipes out such a large part of my screen that I'm going to have to throw my phone away or get it repaired?
I know this is an iPhone video but thanks in advance for any help with this Samsung J7 Sky Pro related problem.

How in the world is this guy, or CNET for that matter, not criticizing Apple more for the convoluted hoops they designed to purposefully discourage people from repairing products themselves? Can only repair from iPhone 12 onward. The hold on your card. The cost of DIY with this equipment vs. taking it in. What a joke.

  30. Instead of supporting the professional mechanics
Apple just turned a proffesional tech reviewer or anchor into an amateur mechanic…
Well indirectly Apple turned us all into brainless monkeys…
    Hatsoff for your strategy apple…
Your pricing is not economical to actually opt for self repair..
Apple single handedly killed right to repair and its advocates with a single bulletp
