Slightly disappointing. However it is the 2nd lowest tier GPU for its gen so I'd say it's expected. The 7800XT should be the ultimate sweetspot

So long as FPS are above 60 (TRUE frames, not including the fake smoothing generated frames) then photorealistic game TEXTURES will MASSIVELY improve your gaming experience, and better textures just need more VRAM without any real hit on FPS.
So, AMD would have been better off keeping the $30 "cut" and spending it to increase the VRAM to 16GB instead. Just about all YouTube channels are saying do NOT buy ANY GPU with less than 16GB VRAM in 2023 or you WILL regret it even with some current games, and most new triple A games as they come out, even at 1080p ultra settings! If you're on a low budget WAIT until July for the deals/competition to drive prices down and get a 16GB VRAM card!
NVidia is marketing the RTX4060Ti as the "ultimate 1080p experience" ; leaving aside the fact that mainstream 1080p gaming has been around for about 20 years and so resolutions that low is a joke, but even that low claim is not true because if you turn on "ultra settings", which of course includes Ray tracing, there are SEVERAL current games where it FAILS even at 1080p, with lows falling to 2 or 3 FPS frequently with stutters, making those games unplayable at "ultimate 1080p", proving NVidia to be mis-selling a crap card.

From what I can tell it doesn't add enough extra proformance than my 5700xt to justify an upgrade. Although I've never tested 1440 with the 5700xt

4060ti seems like a refresh of the 3060 and the 7600 seems to be a refresh of the 6600 .
RX 6600 is 209$ on Amazon, so it's 23% less in price with 5-10% less performance. If you're all about price to performance at 1080p, then i highly recommend getting the 6600 instead.

Will putting a gen 3 ssd in a gen 4 slot cause boot issues? My OS is on the SSD on my current motherboard but the system will only boot straight to BIOS after a power on or restart. I’ve changed every setting I can think of to no avail.
