The moral of the story: CNET is getting paid by all the usual phone manufacturers and don't want to say anything that would jeopardize their pocket books. I own this phone and it's straight up a BEAST and blows the Asus ROG 7 phone out of the water when compared to their respective price points. 2 years of software support has been embarassing to begin with. All these off brand android brands make android look so bad.

1 year of software support is fine, it's not like I even update the software. I don't bother with updating software updates since software updates are not 100% bug free. I trust updating apps more than updating the software. I only update the apps.
Ooof one year of support? Thatโs $600 a year, just pay the more expensive price for a longer supported phone
