I have used a system with 1440 cores and 64Tb RAM, but it was a few hundred physical commodity boxes. The latest compute space stuff that is replacing the likes that I used, is insane.

There's really no good excuse to be running x86 in 2023. I'm not saying everyone should switch to ARM… Maybe RISC-V too.. But using x86 for anything at all is just a horrible waste. Bitcoin mining is nothing compared to all the watts wasted running x86.
M-Chips are also ARM based.
Linus is the only guest I saw at Computex who was allowed to mess with that amazing server like this.
The CPU GPU part i am not so interested. But i am loving the 2x100G/400G integrated NIC card with CPU+RAM. this kind of NIC is very useful to run a OS over other OS. As Mikrotik did with CCR2004-1g-2xs-pcie. Great video.
