Had a roku box for years, keeping my ancient Samsung TV going till it explodes. When it does die will probably get a roku tv.
Shame they don´t work across Europe, only in UK, Germany and France…..
Being forced to make an account is a problem and a deal breaker. No one should be forced to fork over their info to use a bloody TV. Roku should be ashamed of this.
got Roku a few years ago built into my RCA . works like a dream . the setup was not too bad and got the premium package . the support staff are great to deal with and very nice.
6:22 Well, yeah obviously. But the people who would buy this T.V likely aren't the same as those who would buy a PS5. I mean you are literally buying a t.v that costs as much as the console, thats like spending the same amount of money on your motherboard as you do the Graphics card.
Chances are, if you own one of the consoles that support 120hz, you likely also own a much more expensive tv that can make use of it. Or you're already dealing with a 60hz panel so its literally a non factor when compared to this one.
Why is linus infront of a green screen at 43 seconds in?
It might not be 4k 120hz, but lets be real. Neither are the consoles despite their claims.
I actualy really like my roku box. its a used Telstra tv one. SIDE LOAD MY FRIENDS! Makes an EXCELLENT Jellyfin box. Makes my 42" Samsung plasma look amazing.

Never heard about Roku in Germany.
From what I had last used in 2022 Roku does not have the ability to connect to any Bluetooth device other than their own. Atleast directly as you would. That to me is just stupid engineering. Having the hardware but being software restricted to use their own products.
I never had a "good" TV so for me this would already be something like a top tier model XD

You need an account for LOCAL SOURCES? So if you buy this and Roku goes bust next year, fuck you I guess? No way would I ever buy such a device.
If it doesn't come with 4k 120hz standard I'm not interested period and the brightness on the samsungs are wild
Great video, but for some of us in Europe Roku is unfortunately not an option 🙁 Do you know who makes the TV for Roku? Also i would love to see a video where you compare the OS and Userfriendlyness of the different manufactures, like Samsung, Phillips, LG, Sony, TCL, ect. Especially focusing on stuff like initial setup, swiching between sources and adjusting settings for each source
