  1. This is the cheap solution, if you want to do this in an enterprise environment between datacenters; please use dense wavelength division multiplexing to use own wavelength over an single fiber connection.

  2. "So you have a network engineer?"
    "Well, kind of"

  3. "We have to keep the raw video file!"
    * embeds video using youtube on a phone *

  4. @lTT crew: @9:35 you have a working internal LTT QR code in view, I don't know if you would want that.

  5. i just did a speed test……..-_-. ahhh america

  6. "So, you have a network engineer"
    "Well, kind of"

  7. Not sure how it is set up between your main and backup internets, but on Android for example, it will keep the connection alive as long as socmets are using it specifically. If you just set it to priority and wait an hour, the sockets should be sorted. Taking the same route only gets you to the router, so that would have to keep the sockets going to the right connection (if possible)

  8. im kina surprise they don't use teracopy for file transfer instead of windows they would find faster file transfer using with teracopy

  9. On today's episode of Troll Your Boss…

  10. not free for me fake news

  11. "we dont own this cable" that is incorrect cuz if it gets damaged the internet company will make you pay for a new one lol

  12. I need to come teach how to splice raw bulk fiber.

  13. you didnt move a ladder right?? got me haha

Each time they getting closer to Nasa’s record speed internet

  14. Linus and Jake turning into the most Canadian they've ever been at 11:15 is hilarious

  15. Im more amazed someone let them in those mechanical rooms, like at all.

  16. Guys. Complaining about SMB while using a SAMBA backend…. come on.

  17. This is a video in how NOT patch a fiber optic panel..
    – You should clean the connectors mate before you contaminate the core, connectors
Cleanliness: Fiber optic connectors should be clean to ensure high performance and longevity. Dust and oil can lead to signal loss and damage to the components, cleaning tools such as lint-free wipes, canned air, and fiber optic cleaning fluid are commonly used.

    – Tagging pff LOL
Documentation: Make sure to document which cables are patched into which ports on the patch panel. This will make future maintenance and troubleshooting much easier.

    – Cleaning and tiding the fibers
Proper Routing: Fiber optic cables should be routed properly to avoid sharp bends or twists that could damage the cable and degrade signal quality.

    Nice effort 😉
