Micro USB in 2023…
I had two Corsair static preasure fans in my computer for a few years. They were supposed to be silent fans but they were far from silent fans. Compared to the be quiet fans I now have in my computer the so called silent fans were loud.
I have the fans in my computer optimised to be as quiet as possible but move good air at the same time. The weakest link in my computer was the two Corsair fans for years.
In fact I had two akasa fans in my computer that cost a third of the price as the Corsair fans and they not only moved more air but they were a lot quieter than the Corsair fans.
Corsair do make some good stuff but I would be very very hesitant to buy Corsair fans again.
send those to me!
So what were Lian li fans?
People will just use lian Li uni al120 v2 3 pack instead.
This new Corsair systems and it's fans are ludicrously priced and almost a straight up scam, the margins they have on these products are insane. Do not buy!
Corsair make really good stuff and they're just getting better and that's nice.
hasnt lian li basically built fans just like this lol
They also could have used sata as the power source
If only it didn't require their bloatware resource hogging iCue software.
Im out at that price. But im excited to see some be quiet or noctua fans that have this tech
No they arent a game changer. And for fucks sake, they are way 2 expensive.
"No pun intended". Narrator: "The pun was absolutely intended"
Cool.! Only $50 each!
"We designed a system of fans that gets rid of all the cables………………….you need to buy a shit ton of cables too" – Corsair.
I think that this is an awesome feature that's coming to the user market that was initially started by lian li, and is now being taken to another level by corsair, but just wait till this turns into a whole market full of each company with their own proprietary connectors
Following Lian Liโs lead in fans I see ๐คฃ
Iโll say itโฆ Iโm not spending $250 on Fโn Fans and Corsair can jump off a pierโฆ
I saw these but I decided to go with lian li sl infinity fans way cheaper and better looking rgb
whos gonna tell him lian li has had this for a while… all for around 90 and has all the cables you'll ever need (:
think i will still go with uni infinity fans
The question I have is whether or not the radiators for the new AIOs using the link system will be longer due to having the link harware built into them and therefore might not fit where the usual Corsair radiator (in my case a 420mm) now sits??? Also does it really use micro usb???? my current Corsair AIO uses USB c so micro usbis surely a step backwards?
The middle front fan being 1 off on the chain really made me upset ๐
Lian li infinite fans for me
Pretty sure Lian Li started making snap together fans a long time before Corsair. It would be a game-changer had it been a single cable for RGB and fan and not going into crappy proprietary hardware and software to make it run. But alas just a copycat product made even worse
I refuse to spend almost 200 dollars on 3 fans HELL NO๐คฌ๐คฌ๐คฌ
I'm having a problem with the cables… u don't get enough in the packages.. the are expensive… they are bulky… and they won't sell u a double 90
Are pcs actually worth buying most of them from what Iโve seen get a tiny bit more fps than ps5 on most games unless you get a pc for ยฃ3k
Quality video, absolute honesty with your work. Much appreciated. Keep up the great work.
game changer? corsair is late to the cableless fan chaining party. lian li and phanteks already have some out. not sure if theres more companies or not, maybe thermaltake
out of curiocity, is it possible to change the fans on that AIO radiator to a diffrent brand of fans?
Ive got 9 D30 fans connected to 3 fan headers on my motherboard using fan control to manage all my fans with curves setup against the gpu and cpu according to what im using my PC for. So im quite happy with my nice neat set up.

Personally I donโt think this will change anything except the amount of profit for Corsairs pockets. Just a bunch of overpriced pointless rgb crap for them to rack in more money. And people just fall for it๐๐๐
I hope they have made an improvement on the LED's from the QL fan series.
Since I built my system 2 years ago which has 7 QL120's in, I have had to send six back due to failed LED's. Four of the replacements already have failed LED's on them and I just can't be bothered sending them back anymore and will probably not buy Corsair RGB fans in the future.
