  1. Imagine part of your job is having to do a livestream and promote this piece of crap card from Nvidia and trying to figure out what to say when the 8gb and $100 cheaper version slightly outperforms it. Yikes. Not a job I'd want.

  2. Welcome to the Nvidia comedy show 😂

  3. a few things: 1: the fact that this is a slim card and the 8gb is not, shows the cpu and ram are going to work harder on the 8gb version. 2: not one of the games shown was modified from vanilla, this card will excel on games like Cities: Skylines with all the DLC and mods running, it's not always about FPS. 3. this card would be even better if it had the larger cooler, might be worth swapping the 8gb one, especially in a dual card setup. 4: the availability of these cards is crap, where's the GPUs? 5: RX6800 16gb gaming x trio vs this, with the old-style cooler, all the RGB, AND STARFIELD.

  4. I actually sort of want one for the very niche situation I have… I have a PC that is designed to fit inside a backpack and I can't fit an RTX 4070 or an RX 6700, not to mention the thermal situation.

And when you are working inside Unreal Engine 5 with multiple 4k monitors, having some extra VRAM is nice. I don't generally use this PC to play games and am not looking to game a 1080p at the highest possible framerates.

But since it seems everyone else who doesn't have a stupidly small PC hates this card, that I should probably wait and watch as prices fall. People who build ITX PCs generally get used to having to pay a premium for stuff… But if nobody is buying, then there is no reason for me to not wait and see if it comes down to a more reasonable price.

Anyways, don't be stupid like me and build a PC that is only 22cm long… Most graphics cards are 24cm or longer…

Looks like a waste of ram when pushed in 2k, 4k gaming. Maybe good for video editors on the cheap.

  5. Rtx 4050 for $500. Wow! Truly the more you buy the more you save

  6. Thanks, guys
Can't say the same to Nvidia))
