Yeah Windows lost its shit when I created my Medicat usb. It was so mad I had to disable damn near everything. Figured fk it I’ll go full tilt at that point.. Got Medicat and added a key logger, a password breaker, and a VPN so I can remote into the machine while monitoring network traffic. All of this on a plain usb next to my tamagotchi and keys. 😂
Oh, and I’m also shocked it took so many years to talk about voicemeter.

I have 2 HD with 2 differents OS one w7 the other win11..if I mount the 2 HD when I start Pc its doesn't work and damage win11.I need something ? BIOS setting doesn't work like it should..help
Since you spoke about Voicemeeter (a must have). When you are taking care of your audio, you may be interested into VST Filters which are utilities adding some great features like fir, gate, eq, comp, etc (see the well known reaper reaplugs vst filters for example).
In that domain I used VST host for a long time. However I could not make it work with the Patch insert feature of Voice meeter Potato. Now I use a really light software which is called Light Host (by rolandoislas). It does let you add multiple VST filters in a minimalistic context menu but Patch inserts works.
And finally, a last small tool which could be usefull when sound is unbalanced (pubg loud gun sounds for example): Sound lock.
It prevents the sound above a max level you define.
There're is actually a sound limiter in voicemeeter too (left click drag down on sound visualisation gauges for input & outpout), but compression seemed a bit different (more pronounced in my memory, feel free to try it yourself). Therefore, voicemeeter could be quite hard to understand at the begining where sound lock could be an ear saver with a single userfriendly feature.
By the way, VoiceMeeter is incredibly customizable, you can control every thing on the software with shortcuts and combined with macrobuttons for example (even through network if you have a live sound editor).
I synced an APC Mini mk1 which is an affordable (less now) sound board. (8×8 buttons you can use with 3 color states (off/on/blinking + red/yellow/green) and 16 more with 2 colors and 9 volume sliders you can sync to your voicemeeters sources.
In the end, that's a streamdeck without the lcd buttons but with 64+16 buttons layout and 9 sliders.
Real tech tips
basic but necessary in my opinion: open hardware monitor/speccy , driver booster, keypass. I've got some other stuff but on the top of my head that's the most essential for daily use

Medicat for the win
EQ APO with PEACE is by far a must for anyone with high end Headphones, I can't recommend it enough. I've had an AMP and a DAC stack hooked up to my Sennheiser 660s' for about a year, I downloaded this tool with the plugin and threw on one of the premade configs for the 600s, Night and day difference. My headphones even had varying profiles depending on the headphone cups you had installed.

For the most part you can also use Winget instead of chocolatey as it is built into windows

I used Ventoy on a 64gb drive, installed a few ISOs but I never got it to work. Then I couldn't remove Ventoy not even with their method. Pendrive is now useless because it reads that it has Ventoy in it but in reality it does not. I don't know how to fix it.
Anyway, I stick to the good old Hiren's.
