  1. That wide and flat? No good

  2. I can handle an Earth that is flat, but I cannot handle an ultra-wide monitor that is flat. Also, birds aren't real.

  3. Im waiting for the day where a monitor has more vertical space. An ultrawide 4k monitor for example. Please. 5144×2160 with 32 or 34 inch vertical space.

  4. still 1440? lmao no thanks

  5. One thing I wish could be shown is split screen multiplayer on games because that's one thing I'd be worried about losing going to an ultra wide instead of 2 monitors side by side and I would like to see how the resolution scaling would do in that

  6. I current Have an Alienware 👽3420DW curved ultrawide (non-Oled) and I agree a small curve is needed on ultrawide monitors this size and above for any use.

  7. Do a video on dual monitors please. Maybe talk about streaming with 2 pcs? I’m just trying to learn more

  8. I'm not a fan of ultra wides but that thing is cool

  9. im still on my electriq 34/35' 180hz and its fine 3440-1440p using 4070ti oc asus and 5900x cpu with 64gb ddr4 4000 win 11 pro and 100i cooler wanting 2nd monitor for aplications and stream….. what would u recommend ??

  10. Cool monitor!!!

  11. now we need a curved variant

  12. wiggle jiggle

  13. What do you do with all the pc you build??

I just sit back a little. AOC also makes Aopen Fire Legend. Oh and movies that fit the 21:9 aspect ratio.

I bought a white 40'' Aopen IPS 144 hz 34440×1440 and it looks great. Bought it in January 630 usd off Amazon.

  14. Not another monitor to end all monitors…again 😂

  15. Look into the INNOCN 401C1R for 329.99 on sale from 599. review it!

  16. Its funny, IPS panels tend to have great colors and decent motion, but terrible contrast ratio and backlight bleed.

VA has great contrast ratios and less backlight bleed but subpar colors and iffy motion.

Then OLED is the best of both worlds. (mini led is alright too)

  17. Ultrawides are so cool but just don't work with my current setup. I really want one of those Odyssey Neo G9s but man it would make other stuff in my setup a real pain. If my panel could turn into a 32:9 with the press of button when I want to game it would be a dream.

Why would you spent so much on a monitor when you can just buy a lg c2 42 inch, overall better quality for gaming and you can switch between watching TV. It’s plain and simple, monitors are dying out.

  18. so it costs more than an LG C2, has less resoltion than and LG C2 but it has 144hz over the C2s120hz. and it also costs way more…. so what your saying is get the 42 inch LG C2. gotcha.

  19. This is why I took the jump on a Samsung QLED last year. 42” and gets 144hz over HDMI. Has HDR and is just brilliant.

  20. Monitor manufacturers will do just about anything to avoid OLED won't they?

Gamers: "Can we please just have a 1440p 32" OLED Monitor, flat, with a glossy screen?

Monitor Manufacturers: Nope, the best we can do is a 38" ultrawide monitor, curved ips panel, with an obnoxious matte screen.

Gamers: Ok? That's not at all what I asked for.

Monitor manufacturers: Too bad, suck my ass.

Gamers: Well is it at least TRUE HDR? Is it FALD with plenty of local dimming zones?

Monitor Manufacturers: Ummm, no but it's super "FAST". It's 360hz! Because all of you are obviously professional FPS gamers.

Gamers: So why wouldn't I just buy an OLED TV? It's obviously the best image quality. I get unlimited contrast ratio, inky blacks, and absolutely no blooming. Unrivaled response times. That is why we're purchasing a monitor after-all, we want the best image.

Monitor Manufacturers: But ours have RGB and look like a space ship. That's cool right?

  21. But it's … flat. Why? Why on earth? What a stupid decision.

Having used both flat and curved ultrawides in the past (34" and 38"), it's going to be a clear and definitive hard pass for me; way too big for a flat panel that's gaming focused (or really at all) – what a stupid move.

My 34" 3440×1440 at 144hz Iiyama curved VA ultrawide for only £370 or so remains the best bang for the buck I've ever used.

  22. We need a top 10 of your wallpapers on wallpaper engine! 🙂

  23. The Alienware 38” is far superior. And it’s 4k! I can never go back to 1440.

  24. Cant you use DSR/DLDSR to alleviate the pixel density if you have a beefy gpu?

  25. Pixel density is horrible…

  26. Ugghhh.. I wish this was OLED at 3840×1600 resolution. So close

  27. Pc nerd max fosh

  28. Needs to be 4k

  29. Looks great and great video! What is the sub pixel layout? Is it RGB? 🤞🏻

  30. Your link for the monitor doesn’t lead to this one?

  31. hey pinochio lets trade. my whole pc with a gpu? deal? i have ryzen 3 3600 rx 580 165 hz monitor.

  32. I think its a good widescreen, its just not for me, especially with no HDR. I game on a 77" OLED, I only use it for gaming on Xbox and my PC (4090). I know it maxes out at 120hz, but it does the job for what I need, which is 4K HDR @ 120fps gaming. I would probably pick one up fo rmy other rig, if it was HDR.

  33. are there any monitors with display port 2.1 yet?

Do they make in a curved built my first pc bout a month ago and got a dell 32in curved monitor and after playing on the curved wont go back to the flat aouldnt believe how much better the experience was may just be me but the curved screen gives such a more in depth expierience

  34. What do you mean finally lol

Innocn has a 40" 21:9 monitor available with two years.

  35. That's just a TV with extra steps

Really good price for what it is, I've been wanting to go ultrawide might pick one of these up.

  36. I so agree, I wish there were more 40" Ultrawide options at 1440p, it's definitely on my wish list. I checked out a 34" Ultrawide in store and I just found them a bit on the small size and wanted something just a bit bigger for more immersion and a more cinematic experience. I get why 34" ultrawide is so popular at 1440p due to optimal pixel density when sitting only a few feet from the screen but I would happily give up some pixel density for a slightly bigger screen.

  37. Not 4k not interested tbh..

  38. I've used both 34" flat and curved ultrawide monitors, and yeah you need that curvature. It's actually amazing just how much of a difference a slight curve makes, when it comes to comfortably viewing the edges.

  39. Do you think an RTX 4070 would be fine with this monitor?

  40. For me personally anything over 32" just makes me square eyed, 4K 32" for me is the sweetspot.

  41. Anything over 34” isn’t a gaming monitor it’s a monstrosity aka shouldn’t be considered legitimate for proper GAMING

  42. I bet you guys that u don't the name of wallpaper shown in thumbnail

  43. I’ll stick with my oled ultra wide Alienware. I can’t go back to ips after having oled

  44. Are you from Lord of Rings?
