9:45 doesnt steam link have desktop streaming mode? I remember using something like this.
They took out the Steam player that you could set up to play folders that have music files in them. This enabled you to play the music of a game without having to buy it again in an album form. – They probably got greedy and wanted to force people to have to rebuy the music to play it in an album form -,. Now I have to use an external player like VLC. What if you want to play music files that aren't in an album format?

I don't understand why there aren't "community covers" yet for game art. It's currently not cloud synced and a pain to update them

Steam has worked extremely well on my all AMD system
You can access the desktop as a option in the remote play app
You can rebind big picture buttons
I did not know about the pin option, I saw it but never tried because I thought it would only pin in the overlay. I'm gonna satisfactory so hard now

The fact that when you now press the tray icon it brings up the overlay instead of the client meant the overlay is a skip for me and I turned it off.
With using steam link to remote desktop you don't need to add any non-steam programs. Just open steam, SLink in and exit big picture mode, it'll just work.

There is a game called The Isle and they use the beta feature to launch a whole different game, pretty cool
Here's my question, is steams bandwidth limiter any good now? They way it used to work in the past was cancerous, it'd download at max speed, then stop, then download at max speed again until it balanced itself out to average the speed you chose, meaning anyone gaming would get horrendous lag spiking in game.
Steam has made some amazing changes and champions the gamer way more then anyone else. But for the love of God steam please make big picture stable on desktop and not look like I'm using a slideshow
I use the remote desktop often to launch Epic Games store, so i can play some games on my TV. Works great.
Can we turn off that annoying overlay?
Is there an " Augmented Steam " for the Steam Client? Neat feature. I'm also tired of entering my age all the time and it's not on the correct month majority of the time. Something to save it so I only do it once?

I used to make my pc boot right into Steam Big Picture, it was so cool, and I would not just added most often used apps as non steam apps to be launched from there, but explorer.exe so I could "launch" windows too anytime. I even changed boot animation to Steam's, I had my Steam Machine… Tempting to try again someday, that was in Windows 7 era…
You miss out built in lancache mode for steam games for LANs.
