  1. No healthcare workers should have to make decisions surrounding which patients get put on a ventilator and which don't due to the ventilator shortage. The creation and global distribution of low-cost ventilators must be prioritized.

    Fast forward to now. This video has not aged well. There was NEVER a shortage. Not a single person that needed a ventilator went without. The hospitals were neve overwhelmed. Not even close. This video was pure fearmongering propaganda.

  14. I've done 4 things to greatly improve my lung function and overall wellness. My sleep, energy, and life outlook are greatly improved:
    1. I started using the BreatheEasy Lung Exerciser about 5 years ago and still use it,
    2. I stopped mouth breathing unless absolutely necessary, even when exercising,
    3. I did light mouth taping at night in order to ensure nose breathing all night,
    4. I do an simple exercise to reset my CO2 trigger for triggering breathing so I don't breathe so much.

  26. Check AgVa healthcare ventilators. These are cheapest in the world. They use machine learning to make it effective. Cost less than 2k USD.

  27. If they could get that one ventaltor for two people thing working, effectively doubling the supply, that would be pretty big

  28. Make one large ventilator per hospital . One pump runs all greatly reducing components needed to run system .. If this method is used a cheap but large volume air compressor can be set up in utility room or exterior of building in a safe area and it can be used to supply needed air via pvc piping throughout hospital with separate lines going to each patient and then supply many hundreds of patients at a time off of one system. At each patient have small individual pressure regulators ,monitors , etc..
    Oxygen can be added to system along with secondary filtration and one way valves for safety .

    The individual regulators can be plugged in where needed . If new rooms need to be added it is simple to add more pvc line to that new area .

    Quick to implement, cheap, most parts are already available local hardware parts stores ,
