  1. Thanks for putting up with all of the Star Wars references. We have been watching Star Wars on Fridays with our 6 year old daughter. She came up with the ending because she really wanted to use the Force. Don’t worry, she will be turned to the dark side eventually…

  2. You say that the home assistant works better with the Samsung Tvs. I have been trying to get more control for a few weeks now. Got any tips on how to do that. I smartthings you have full tv controls just like a remote. But right now Home assistant has one/off volume control and two inputs. What am I missing?

  3. Still waiting for an easy to work with offline voice assistant that works with a bluetooth microphone/speaker … that would be great! Home assistant is great

  4. Started with HA one year ago, not knowing where ST was headed. One week in, had a complication working on my Apple Watch, never looked back. Just disconnected my ST hub last week. The developers at HA are both visible and transparent, if you catch my drift. Can't wait for tomorrow to see what 2022.11 has in store.

  5. Reolink cams work with HA?

  6. Will reolink cameras work with home assistant?

    Nice

  7. home assistant does not support all of my devices, and so requires a monthly fee to get alexa support, no thanks when I can do it for free.

  8. hi i am new to Home Assistant and really enjoyed your video. my issue is hardware. i wanted something easy like HA Blue but this is out of stock and not available. Can you recommend a suitable alternative to get me started

  9. I like the old style Echo Dot because it's small also Newest.Technology, gives out decent sound and doesn't take up a lot of shelf space if you want to put it on beam in the workshop or shed.

  10. Please make a video of how to set home assistance from scratch

  11. 2022 and Smartthings havent been updated…

  12. I don’t know how to contact you.
1st thanks for all videos for home assistant/smart home guides
I need some help ,I have home assistant at home I need a sensor setup to know water level in my water tank , and integrate to home assistant .please make a video for that thanks

  13. What exactly is home assistanct. Do you buy it like an app. Do you download it to a computer. Like what exactly is it

  14. WHAT ABOUT HOME MONITOR?

  15. I use several RBOYs SmartApps with SmartThings. Will these work with Home Assistant?

  16. Thanks for sharing your journey. I'm way behind you and just now thinking of moving from Amazon to SmartThings, primarily to be able to add Zigbee devices like the IKEA smart button. I think I'll still stick with that path because I don't have the patience to deal with what you're describing with Home Assistant.

  17. i can see you will become a great sith someday … ty for the video . keep up the good work

  18. There are lots of good and easy tutorials on YouTube from home assistant, so today you only can't use home assistant if you are lazy enough to not watch a video, running homing assistant supervisor on a old netbook Msi from 2010 on Debian server 11 working great👍😃

  19. Nice video, can you integrate Google Nest into HA as easy as Alexa? Is it even possible?

  20. I made the switch over time converting everything over… so much more to do… HA is soooooo good

  21. I’m moving to a new home soon. I’ll be leaving SmartThings behind and going to the HomeAssistant dark side platform. (No, I’m not leaving my smart equipment behind). I’ve been learning home assistant to get ready. And I’m also going to install a UniFi network since I will have 1GB fiber at the new place. Already ordered 2 Access Point 6 Pro units. Snagged those as soon as came back in stock. Trying to decide between the UDM PRO or the SE.

  22. Where can you buy an home assistance hub? Can’t find it

  23. I'm not sure how many people notice, but I'm really impressed with the quality of your videos! Every scene, word, and follow-along is so carefully orchestrated. I know a ton of thought must go into just one video. Thank you!

  24. I am curious what do u need the network hub / switch are for? I mean does it have anything to do with the smart home devices? Or just for something else. I thought you use wifi for smart devices
