The quality of videos ever since I fell in love with this channel when they tried cooling a pc in a refrigerator has steadily declined. Nowadays every video from LTT feels like the exact same video, repeated over and over, just with slightly different content (the product or topic at hand). But they all feel the same to me, the fake enthusiasm, the segways to sponsors, the structure of every video, it feels the same everytime.

For the polar pattern, that’s not usually how those are graphed. Although i am not an audio engineer, i do have some idea as to how it is done. I can see this being very confusing to the avg consumer. I suggest using the type of graphs audio manufacturers ship with their microphones. Those are pretty easy to understand, sprcially for consumer and even pro sumers.
Also you didnt mentione about the hi pass filter which does make a lot of difference in sound.
At 3:16 the FiFine sounds comically compressed. How can I be sure the problem isn't on your end, at the mixing stage? It could be another one of your many mistakes, and I don't trust you enough to add an asterisk somewhere, maybe, if you get around to it. Especially when ay 6:55 it sounds a million times better 🤷
mic graphics are the same for lower frequencies so the graphics should show zoom only higher than five thoousand hertzs, so we could truly see the eq differences.
in my experience the same measurement mic that you used to measure you should be using it for recording, it is inexpensive and actually sounds better.

The constant advertising in LTT videos is hugely off-putting.
You're talking differently into each mic with varying levels of inflection so the listening comparisons are pretty useless

You guys need to get your focus back on quality. This is going to hurt your business much more than the minimal time it takes to make sure things are correct. The consumers count on and rely on you guys. I expect better myself.
So did you guys actually test the mic or is this a vibe thing, an entertainment thing, a factual thing, a cash for comment thing or just a 'we gotta get some lunch, make somethin' up' thing…? You really need to label your videos nowadays so we can be sure whether to take you guys serious or not. Cheers.

It's crazy how far standalone mics have come since 2012. I've spent hundreds of dollars on recording equipment over the years that sounded WAY worse.

Why is dislike ratio so high n all this about?
What GN did takes guts to call out such a major player and make them accountable for their mistakes. LTT, you should focus on quality from now on. We want videos, yes, but don't want false or un corroborated information.
I have been using (and abusing) an €80 fifine usb mic for yesrs. Its such a great value for the money honestly and the mic quality sounds better then your average ps4 mic
Now we know, skip the testing results, they are all not accurate anyway
"Unlike Gamer Nexus and Hardware Unbox".. that sentence felt like stabbing your best friend you grow up together on the back. I don't like Gamers Nexus compare to LTT. But because Steve is not that fun. But He is honest and straight forward. And that's the most important thing. Gamers Nexus also as far as I know proven to be always loyal to community. Now, how can we respect you if you cannot loyal to your own youtuber teammate while they did nothing wrong to receipt such accusation from LTT? I am not some random subscriber; I bought your screwdriver from Indonesia. I am unsubscribing until I hear something from Linus which I can accept. If no? then goodbye LTT. Hey man, I know those taycans aren't going to buy themselves. But the way you're going about it, isn't right. In anycase, you're just going to become another hard sellout who doesn't take accountability for their actions. Sad to see it go this way. But the allure of money and fame can corrupt even the most pure minded souls. Wish you are accountable for all the mis information and small companies you've thrown under the bus.
How does it feel to have ignored the same criticism years ago but now it’s going to bite you. Last time your response was basically “it doesn’t matter if a couple people unsubscribe”.

Did LTT do some things wrong? Yes, if you actually watch WAN show you know that he's aware they lose quality over quantity when it comes to videos. If anyone thinks he can just wave a magic wand the next team meeting and decide they only upload every other day to give writers more time, it's naieve at best. He has 120 employees to pay, it's not a game. They upload every day to keep the lights on.
Does any of that excuse poor quality or wrong factual data in videos? of course not, and that whole video with Billet should have been scrapped in my opinion once they realised they were using the wrong GPU for it, but those are mistakes that can be fixed. I really dont get the pitchfork mentality – and the fact that steve didnt reach out for a response from LTT is kinda sus, given his whole "holier than jesus" mentality when it comes to journalism.
