I brought my iPhone 11 in January, 2020 and my battery health is at 89%
I still the 5W charger with my iphone 14 pro😅
I have an iPhone 6s since 2015 and my battery health is at 100%. I am concerned
iPhone 12. 87% 😊
Got an iPhone 11 Pro Max @ 81% capacity. Charge every night and am really torn as to whether to get battery replaced or get the nest iPhone. Hoping battery level hits the threshold for free replacement by then. Otherwise AppleCare plus is not worth it
I currently use iphone 14 pro max and my battery health is already at 95%. With a considerate amount of use. Not mentioning my previous iphone 11 pro when it first released was at 83% within a year of purchased, isn't it absurd to grasp I tell you it certainly is. new iphone new longer battery life, the question is if the new iPhone will ship in OS 16 and not 17 will the battery be the same as the iphone 14 line up. Even though if the iphone 15 ship with the newer chipset. I 100% sure that they're identical in terms of performance and battery life quality and capacity. apple loves to troll its consumers who are willing to upgrade their phone every year and those consumers who refuses, their devices will experience many sort of bugs and problems with tremendous battery degradation via software. FYI apple controls everything through cloud/ software, so like it or not you'll eventually upgrade to lates ios, and experiencing slow down, worst battery. If not, there'll be limitation on using the app and some issues along the way that'll tell you to upgrade your ios in order to use this application. It's an old trick and I'm tired of upgrading my phone every year or 2. Wishing to jump to android and don't care about how buggy because their operation sytem is never as polished as apple does
According to apples community forum, the iPhone 14 pro max should drop 1% per month in battery health. I have the specific reference if anyone wants it
Bought my 14 pro max when it came out. Health at 89% today
I have 14 Pro Max, but Battery Health is 99%
iPhone 11 Pro user here. Bought after launch and still 95% ! Im not doing something special. Charge when I need it and use like what ever I would like. Just recently I switch my overnight charger with old fashioned 5w. This battery thingy is really a mystery!
I have a 13 pro max & my battery health is at 98% at just over a year old, I just charge it overnight and I’m hanging onto my phone for another year at least.
iPhone 14 Pro max
Disabled 5g
Heavy user
100% battery health still
I have a refurbished iphone 8 with 100% battery health, it seemed too good but the screen and camera don't seem to be original or recognised by apple, it still works just fine but an app that I downloaded on my PC showed that screen and battery are 3rd party, wish they changed the rear camera since it gets the shakes from time to time, might upgrade to the second see if I had the money to spend I doubt apple will release a newer se model like the iPhone 6 7 8
One serious downside to this is it also hurts the resell value by quite a bit
I have an 14 Pro mine is still 100%
I got my iPhone 14 pro max in the 3° day of October …. My battery is at 88% of health
I use 180% a day
12 pro max, at 77% battery health. Good 20 or so months before it dipped < 80%
iPhone 14 pro max has been a huge disappointment. Barely keeping up with my iPhone 6 Plus with new batteries. Yesterday night I had 80% charge on it. Today when I woke up, it’s at 30%…. 50% battery drain while the phone is sleeping. No background activities whatsoever
I have an iPhone 12s and I used it the first year perfectly so I had 100% battery health but now it is in the mid 80s 😢
odd as my old S8 Samsung has better battery life than my iPhone 12 mini
My iPhone 14 Pro Max is 99%
I have an iphone8 my battery health is now at 50% I have had this phone since November 2017
I'm at 99% battery health on my 14 Pro Max after 8 months of use
My Iphone 14 pro Max battery drained to 91% in 10 Months
Funny how the Apple people know what bugs their users the most around new model launches…. I'm just saying.
Why is it that iPhone always start acting up around the new iPhone release
My 12 pro’s Battery also sucks
Apple provided battery capacity like iPhone X in 12 Pro
🍎 🤦♂️
😮14Pro. Max 98% in 6 months is this normal 😮
I purchased a 14 Pro and 14 Pro max at Launch for different use, my 14 Pro still at 100% and my 14 Pro Max just dropped to 99% after iOS Developer Beta 6 couple of days ago, I think it doesn't affect everyone or the way everyone use their device, I have never use a case since the original iphone back to 2007 and am a yearly upgrader, I have never been into cases and I don't use 5G because to me it drains my device faster and generate heat LTE still fast enough for me , I don't use fast charging at all , sometimes charging both devices overnight I use 5 watt brick, probably that is the reasons both of my14 Pros battery health is aging well🤷🏽♂️
Apple: If you need more battery, let's limit the processor.
I switched over from Samsung (S Series, Notes, & Folds) to iPhone this year and the worst battery day on my iPhone is noticeably better than most regular days with any of the Samsung devices. Running iOS17 Beta on iPhone 14 Pro that I've had since January and it is still at 100% health (knocks on Applewood). I have avoided wireless charging. as much as I can but my twice a week commute does have the phone sitting on a wireless charging dock for a total of 3 hours. I constantly leave it plugged in overnight to charge too. I tend to disable optimize battery charging when I am out and about and constant camera usage drains the battery quickly. I have let the phone get absurdly hot recording 4k video through phone gimbal apps too.
I personally think it has to do with a few factors… 1 being luck of the draw, 2 being permissions that you allow apps (mostly the social ones) that constantly have the phone tracking and listening and calculating and broadcasting causing more drain which means having to charge more often. Lastly I think the way in which you charge truly causes longterm issues. Regardless of the tech used, MagSafe/Qi, wireless charging is not efficient and causes heat generation which causes expansion in the phone and possibly the battery cell. Maybe not enough to short between the electrolyte layer and lithium layer but enough to cause issue. Even on a microscopic level every little imperfection can lead to the battery being less capable of holding max capacity.
TLDR: My battery good… not sure why.
Not really an iPhone but still man my iPad for 11 yrs ago can stay 3 to for weeks without needing to recharge and about a day or two while playing the supported games it has
Now we know why Apple has decided to give the upcoming iPhones a big battery size bump like the last batterygate
Many companies have 1000 battery cycle.
I hope change 500 – 1000 battery cycle.
Are you all in the comments stupid? It has a 3,200mah battery…. No matter what magic you think apple does, it's health is already low. Iphone battery health literally lies. Battery health deteriorates as soon as you start using it…
For me it was 16.5.x release that overheated and drained my 12 Pro Max battery in 18 hours. I also lost 3% health.
Once I put the 16.6 beta on it the battery cooled off and now can go 2 days. I’m not planning to move past 16.6 for awhile.
Now EU has laws bring back replaceable batteries. I am looking forward to see what would manufactures will bring. I loved how LG made a thin phone with replaceable batteries.
i got an iPhone SE gen 2…. still 100% capacity, i don't like to charge overnight
….. Too bad, good thing I don't have to worry about this crap.
Holding up X with other brand hi capacity batt. So far seems good. Well hope 5000mah is a standard batt capacity for apple😅
I bought my iPhone 14pro max at launch about a year ago and I’m still at 100% health. My Apple Watch 6 from launch several years ago is at 82%.
