Comments

  1. I believe we will eventually get a second version of this. It will be a full handheld device then. Theyโ€™re just testing the waters with this first version

  2. Just use a dual sense on a phone using ps remote play, Itโ€™s literally no different

  3. Since itโ€™s a dedicated remote play device as opposed to an app from a phone, I might consider buying it after reviews are in about wifi connectivity and performance.

  4. What an epic fail by Sony!

  5. Great idea but poor execution from Sony. This will flop for the most part, has no use without having a PS5 on nearby. Earbuds being the same price is criminal.

  6. he misses so much information about it there is other YouTubers that has a better video explaining a lot more

  7. What happens when the 200 dollar glorified controller starts drifting?

  8. It's a cash grab you can not even use your headphones your using for your ps5 you have to pay 150 or 200 on top of that ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿคฆyou can only play game you have installed on your ps5 ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿคฆ

  9. Dope

  10. This is so not what we wanted. We wanted a proper handheld. Is it too difficult to understand Sony ?

  11. I just hope people donโ€™t buy it that way Sony knows it was a bad idea

  12. Really like the idea. But not with remote play. I've used it on my tablet. Not great. I bought an alternative remote play app and that's so much better. So will they improve the app.

  13. The fact that so many people have to explain what this device actually is meant to be concerns me. It was the same thing with Wii U Gamepad (the one with the screen). People thought it was a standalone console and Nintendo had a lot of explaining to do.

The lack of information about battery life is also a big issue. If they are not bragging about it, it will probably be abysmally short.

    Remember, it's not $200, it's $600 – you need a PS5 to be able to use Portal.

  14. LCD? 2008 called and want their panel back.

  15. I can't wait to buy this. I stay out the house a couple nights a week so this is perfect for me.

  16. Da pra conectar ele numa tv ?

  17. The psvita was way better, this new handheld is a downgrade if you need a PS5 to use it, the psvita is still superior.

  18. …until the joystick drift manifest ๐Ÿ˜…

  19. Iโ€™ll buy it

  20. So good.. perfect for the younger audience, like a switch for ps5 (in love ๐Ÿฅฐ๐ŸŽฎ)

  21. No xcloud im good

  22. All guaranteed flops.

  23. Wii u

  24. That thing will get stick drift.

  25. If yall ever used remote play on the PS Vita on PS4, this is basically that specifically except for the PS5. I for one have a wife that likes to interrupt my sessions and watch tv, and i travel to different family member's homes. When I visit my parents, especially my dad, every tv in the home is usually occupied. So when I want to play my PS5, this would work for me. There are no PS5 games optimized fof running on handhelds natively, they'd have to be downgraded to work, just like with the Vita. No console game has settings adjustments like PC games. It would be down to developers, not Sony, to make adjustments for the games to run on handhelds anyway. If this isnt for u, then skip it. Stop complaining.

  26. No offline mode? No online streaming? No PlayStation now? I already have a 32" Alienware Screen for thr ps5 if the TV isn't available. And most people have an extra TV or monitor somewhere so hard pass for me. Missed opportunity.

  27. Test bed for ps vita 2.

  28. You can do remote play on Steam Deck now lol.

  29. Pointless if you need a separate PS5

So no ps vita 2 then what kind of bs is that

  30. Iโ€™m ok with the Sony portal. And for $200 Iโ€™m getting it on day one because I play my switch in portable and I have my rog ally for Xbox and this be my portable PlayStation especially I enjoy playing portable and if I travel I like I can play my ps5 form far. So sweet.

  31. Lost me at LCD needed to be oled 4K

  32. Hard pass

  33. This 5 min video was more informative, well presented than all other 10min+ PS Portal videos put together. Well done

  34. Psvita is better than PlayStation portal.
    Because psvita has backward compatibility.
    PlayStation portal is
Biggest failure console off all time. They can't run any offline line games like gba snes psp Neo Geo sega Dreamcast. But
Sony make another failure device that can't fight Nintendo switch.
Sony has biggest opportunity to create this PlayStation portal run all ps4 and ps3 games run at natively. But Sony makes this to streaming device๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚

  35. This "gaming handheld" thing is the reason why a 2011-level cyber-attack into Sony's website & PS Network is necessary.

  36. The Nintendo WiiU GamePad is back, in the form of PS Portal…
