If you look at big company executives, sometimes private jet travel isn't just about luxury. Walmart for example owns a fleet of private jets that are used by top management and executives to get around, not because they are luxurious but because it makes it far easier to get to stores located in places that have no commercial airline service, that have limited commercial airline service or where getting there on commercial flights would be difficult or take a lot of time for some reason.

The 60hz screen on the steam deck is a deal breaker for me. I cant do that. I play A LOT of older games that the deck would absolutely be able to hit 120+ fps and i eant that smoothe desktop experience. Shame.

NGL, probably vastly unpopular opinion, Samsung S10 5G is wildly better in my opinion than anything made afterwards, and/or the Samsung A80 with the slide and rotate camera is wild technology.

In Europe you always have to communicate to end user price with VAT. And as this varies among countries (usually 16-23%) they tend to use highest one when sitting new prices. It used to be 1:1 USD to EUR due to the exchange rates, now they found other way to justify these ridiculous price bumps for EU

Would love to buy the screwdriver but can't justify the price with shipping, it's over 400ILS with shipping and I bought a similar 1 made by Wiha for 120ILS and very happy with the quality so can't bring myself to spend 4 times as much for a little better driver.
As a 2080 Ti owner, it has a much longer life than it may seem. It still has DLSS and RT capabilities. I use it to play a VR game with RT enabled. Just because faster cards exist doesn't make your current card any slower. I'm waiting until I can get double the performance at the same price to upgrade.
Work from home is also different for different people, 1 person could do 1 type of work from home while another person just can't do that type of work from home, some people just can't work at home period, I had a friend that could work from home and he tried a few times but he just couldn't concentrate on the work while he was home so he chose to keep going to work.

If you OC a 2080ti it performs as a stock 3080 so 2080ti is still fine but starting to struggle at 4k without upscalers, I have a 9900k and 6800xt, playing at 4k 60 no problem for now but with upscaling for the more demanding games, got a 2080ti for Nvidia titles.
In starfield the landing spaces are non contiguous., and each landing area has its own seed. So you go the edge of one zone it doesn't meet another. If you get in your ship and go to the next zone the objects will be different as its generated from a new seed. Basically each zone is its own world.
starfield is a heap of garbage. I did not anticipate that starfield would be objectively as irritating as star citizen but somehow also looks worse than star citizen. jfc
Armored core 6 is easily one of the best of the year and a heavy competitor to bg3 for goty.

i recall using a paper map with Morrowind on xbox. so whatever was in game can’t have been that good. the paper map had more comprehensible details. the fog of war was buggy and wouldcome back. i used transparent paper overlay to draw out the fast travel networks. mages guild, pylons, stilt strider, boats.I forget if the vampires had one too. yet this paper map and the game journal being obtuse was enjoyable. npc gave verbal directions and i had to actually navigate. no amount of modding skyrim could ever bring back that experience because the whole game skyrim was balanced around the quest marker.
Don't get all the whining about Starfield. Watched Part 1 of the Rad Brad Walkthrough and even though he's not the sharpest knife in the drawer, it seem like any other game I've seen.

it looks pretty mediocre and dated and I won't be trying it until it's heavily patched, mods are available and on a substantial sale – and that's if I bother at all. It's just fallout (who Obsidian and interplay both did better, btw) with heaps of procedural generated maps. I just don't understand what people are excited about.
