  1. I am donating €130

  2. I’m so glad mark and jimmy got all the best YouTubers in on this project.

  3. okay i don't got money or time but how can i help with my own 2 hands?

  4. Don’t heavy metals come from earth? But no we need to stop dumping trash in the ocean. I’ve never thrown away e anything. Land fills are the way. As long as they’re geologically appropriate they’re absolutely the best solution. You can harvest methane and in many years there will be a valuable new mineral called trashite or wastite. It will have tons of copper and aluminum. Someday we’ll have mole bots that will harvest and sort and recycle absolutely everything from landfills.

  5. Too much echo

  6. Make hydraulic powered cars with hydraulic pressure made from trash and acid use trash as fuel

  7. I'd like see clean ups instead of just donating, don't really trust just donating if they even actually do cleaning at all

  8. How did our trash get into the ocean in the first place… seems like it's their fault

  9. RECYCLE YOUR EWASTE AT A LOCAL ELECTRONIC RECYCLING PLANT !!💯💯

  10. Oceans and space junk both need to be cleaned.

  11. why would i throw away a pci card of any kind

  12. Deep fake?

  13. Why should I pay to get trash out of the ocean when multibillion dollar companies are responsible for it getting there? I didn't throw my trash into the ocean. I didn't even come close to the ocean. I donate all of my ewaste to people who claim to recycle but have been found to actually just haul it off and throw it the ocean.

Don't waste your money removing trash one dollar at a time. Fine the hell out of the companies that are putting it there in the first place and make them pay to get it back out and dealt with properly.

  14. I don't to help clean up the environment thro amazon prime smile everything I order the seller donat some of the money to help the environment

  15. Let’s not

  16. Arse isn't metal, but "close".. I think it could be worse than those metals what Linus said, in ocean. When arsenic is in sea, there it stays.. long time. And hardly, virtually Impossible to remove from sea. It goes in biomass of fish and so on, then it comes to your mouth and starts to get more and more in your body. So that's the way how it can "cleaned" from sea, if your body dosen't dumbed to sea..
But how we can stop to China and India to dump plastic to rivers? Even landfill is better place than sea for plastic waste, much better.

  17. That’s cool and all but why would we throw a $500 Graphics card into the ocean

  18. Thats why i just repurpose and rarely buy tech.

  19. This is why I am buying 4 million dollars worth of old car batteries to offset the negative impact teamseas is having on the electric eel population

  20. He's just clearing a place for his floatplane to land

  21. Manjaro!!!!!

  22. Don't care didn't ask

  23. Heavy metals: beryllium and arsenic. Yeah, fuck the chemistry.

P.s the cause of definitely good)

  24. While me still using the same GPU like 15 years now.

  25. Then we need to end the disposable product cycle. In addition, we need to stop shipping our e-waste to China because they just dump leftovers in the oceans.

  26. Pogger

  27. My dad is a packrat and keeps all of our old computers, he used to work as an IBM repair guy (before he was struck by lightning and damaged his hard drive, wiping most of his knowledge of how computers work), so he's got strong sentiment for computers.
We've played around and Frankenstein-ed them a few times, to no avail in getting them to run modern equipment- as they were all prebuilt.
I did recently manage to resurrect his latest one, a 2019 Lenovo medium spec baby, that he had murdered with viruses within 2 months of getting it for his birthday. He likes anime and modding Skyrim+Fallout games. I threw in a graphics card (GT 730) discarded by my sister- who tricked me into buying an upgrade by saying it was dead, and somehow it's cooperating with it's native Intel 730. As well as a 1tb sata 3 ripped out of my killed-by-coffee gaming laptop, adding to it's 1tb sata 1 (which is funny because my laptop was 4 years older than the PC and the PC advertised being great for gaming- yet had a sata 1- both Lenovo).
Then I slapped on Linux and a bucket of tears, turning it into a wonderful Switch emulator for my otome games.

I'm also going to take the 2 8gb ram sticks from the laptop and throw them into my newer Lenovo Flex 14. I'm really excited for that, just waiting on the screw drivers I need to arrive.

I'm essentially saying, beyond bragging about my babies, that up cycling tech is a great way to prevent E-waste, and you can sell the parts you don't need.

There are programs that you can mail your trash off to, though it comes at a price. You can also smash those parts with a hammer to compact them, enabling you to store them away until you can afford to dispose of them safely.
That's what I am doing to the rest of my dead laptop. The bits of the other obsolete computers are going to be sold on eBay. At least the cases are perfectly intact.
