Comments

  1. Weird not seeing Dan and his or her laugh in the 3rd seat is obnoxious.

Other than that, good show as always.

  2. Of course it's democratic EU leaders and departments are all regularly elected by everyone European over 16.
Their laws only apply to their own territory. If companies who follow those laws decide to do the same for other zones, that's their decision.
If Australia decides to ban gore in video games, it's the decision of devs to also censor it out for the US.
Also Linus doesn't understand how the EU works. It's not random old farts with lobbyists behind them getting power. It's international commissions order reports and research by specialized wings, and then form laws based on the results.

  3. Jake Longsilver!

  4. I love Linus but I wish he wouldn’t talk over Luke or cut him off the way he does

Hey are the problems in the quality of your reviews fixed by now? Publishing flat out lies about products is inexcusable as Gamers Nexus pointed out.

  5. So you're only interested in being transparent if it benefits you. Yeah, that's not what transparency is. And no, someone using YOUR WORDS to make a point about your bad behavior is not "using it as a weapon". It's using it AS TRANSPARENCY. The thing you claim it was explicitly FOR.

And here I thought I was going to leave a positive comment for once for a surprisingly intelligent take on the EU USB-C thing.

  6. 1:00:50 Luke reviving this old ass meme but not in a bad way

  7. Has there been any information popping up about Madison?

  8. Scrapyard wars, let's goo!

  9. I moved to wireless charging because type-b was so crap.

  10. Looking forward to using any app for messaging without the hassle of multiple apps for different people. EU's motivation isn't people's welfare, but self-interest. They aim to end encryption and consolidate data. Beware of privacy risks if encryption is banned.

  11. 1:05:17 they use them around Europe at markets or any sort of thing where food is on display and it wouldn't be practical to cover it (corporate lunch spreads, matkets etc)

  12. Dude I still keep coming back to Dota Underlords and that game has literally been updated to have it's current season end in 2031. Valve just have this magic fucking sauce and they drip feed it to us like fucking addicts

i think its the reason why cult of the lamb will be removed because of unity? am i right?

  13. I'm the Green guy

  14. guessing new videos – before they say it…
2 – MAYBE 3… I expect the radeon and apple is "new" maybe the house, but I don't think so. Rest is old.

  15. The segment is absolutely HILARIOUS! Love it

  16. The funny thing about the silverware is that Tiffany's actual offering is less than what was pulled up.

  17. I'm so sad no one brings up Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous when discussing about RPG, that game is soo good.

  18. A half a million dollar fine for cheating in a game… that kid’s life is ruined

  19. XPSs being reliable? Do they make the XPSs for Canada different than the ones for the US and Europe?
Granted I have been doing the generic IT shtick for just 7 years and only across 2 companies, but what I have seen is a failure rate on XPSs of easily over 50%.
And by failure rate, I mean that at least once in the machine's lifespan Dell would have been called in to replace the motherboard.

  20. Plex is useless.

  21. 2:15:00 One key element here is that this was not a decision by a court, it was a consent decree.

A consent decree is essentially an agreement between the two parties which they submit to the court and request the courts to enforce, it is not a decision by the court and the court's only role is in enforcement.

It is absolutely NOT legally precedential.

The biggest issue with tbis is thag the companies will try to use it to intimidate people outside of court.
