  1. But then microwave ovens also have these mesh cages inside the door, possibly to block the microwaves, the stuff that actually cooks, from cooking the user itself. I microwave popcorn and watch them pop from the door. Do those meshes not work either? Is that why I have brain damage? From the years of watching corn pop?

  2. You gotta love it when gullible people can get their peace of mind and someone can make their living providing that service.

Placebo cure-all pills have been around for a long time, it's nice to see Placebo migrated to the tech. Industry.

  3. Isn't wifi signals / 5G cellular / AM/FM Radio / TV Transmissions essentially the same thing at different frequencies?

  4. I bought one, works like a charm.

4 out of 5 stars, the design is the reason for the one star drop.

Nicest paper holder in my office!

  5. Linus done bought the wifi jail oh hell nah 😂

  6. This would make a great grasshopper hotel.

  7. Why would i shield myself from EM Waves? they Cure back pain and scurvy!

  8. wtf are "chinese yen"

5:20 holy…. who did that shot?!?

  9. in september 2023 this faraday cage is out of stock

  10. The cardbord box in that the router came in works better at reducing.

  11. It is good to have router blocked/off when sleeping

  12. you are grammatically incorrect please check it again next time

  13. I don't feel like looking it up, but off the top a faraday cage should be made using copper beryllium CuBe or beryllium copper. I believe the mesh should have certain criteria as well, but you all should research that for damn selves.

I just watched a video on how to make a big faraday cage that is thirty dollars cheaper and way larger, of course the diy one is for preppers to store extra batteries and tech in, so it wont let your router work at all

  14. Nope, Starlink and T-Mobile home internet both require the use of their routers. Neither of which you can turn down the transmission power or disable the Wi-Fi. This is the direction it seems that ISPs are moving.

  15. I paid 90 🇨🇦 dollars for a paper holder 😂 the phone cage also doubles for a post it note holder😂😂

  16. That base piece that you imagined they made specifically for this … no. Its a part from some other $2 product. you just don't know what it is yet.

  17. I just came from a scientific lecture on Faraday cages. An important thing you are overlooking is that the size of holes in the mesh determine what frequencies are filtered and what aren't.
Its entirely possible it may filter out 80-90% of the radio spectrum and still be virtually transparent at wifi frequencies. Not saying it is, but it could be. My gut tells me this probably is transparent at wifi frequencies but sounds "scientific" so it will sooth those who think they are vulnerable to electronic impulses. IE, I think its a simple scam designed to sound scientific. I mean, if it worked, it would either reduce or eliminate your wifi signal. So an equalent product would be a broken power supply. I could package a broken 12 v power supply and claim it "fixes" wifi routers to stop them from emitting RF.

  18. WiFi and other wireless technologies do negatively impact our health. It's not JUST heating up our water molecules, as many smar***es say. The EM radiation from all the technology that surround us, even the non-ionizing kind, and at non-heating levels, hampers many biological processes in our bodies meant to keep us healthy. It's a more subtle and complex issue than the conventional "wisdom" that is paid for by parties that stand to profit has taught the general population.
That said, most people that for whatever good or bad or incomplete information they have heard have become worried about wifi and other wireless technologies, fall for nonsense like this.
I wish I wasn't surrounded by wifi and cell networks and other stuff, but there isn't much I can do other than maybe turn my whole house into a faraday cage.
The idea of caging your wireless access points… well, it's just dumb, you are right, obviously.
But you are wrong taking sides for the "no, wifi is not harmful" camp. Maybe investigate the issue a little more than not at all or staying on the surface dichotomy of official narrative vs dumbest scammiest crap, new age or whatever.
There are legitimate health reasons to avoid exposure to the EM fields generated by modern tech as much as possible. If nothing else start by researching how fraudulent are the studies that have been used to approve these things for regular use, to say they are OK when they know they aren't, just like they have done with many other toxic substances.

Now, if you can't get past the crippling need to have official word on something in order to believe it, which so many people seem to suffer from, then there isn't much I can tell you.

  19. Just watch the last 3-4 minutes of this video for any intelligent discussion. The first part is nothing but sarcasm!

  20. Why in the ever living hell… I can't even finish that… like… why the actual hell? lol.

  21. Ofcourse karens would buy it

  22. Truly one of the most ignorant video's I've seen yet. I'd highly suggest you read some books on EMF's. Plenty of studies have been done. EMF'D by Dr. Mercola, who has had one of the largest natural health websites in the world. He was doing this before Google was even born. Ignorance certainly is blissful! Remember to also take your vaccines!! They too are safe and effective!! Have a great day and GOD BLESS!!

  23. It simply doesn't work because all of the WiFies are escaping through the rubber grommet hole and as we all know…rubber does NOT block The WiFies .

  24. Huh.. it would be ironic if you got a brain tumor.

  25. I find it funny how people are scared of 5G when visible light goes from 380-740THz. If 5G was so scary, surely they would be covering their entire body to prevent light from "harmfully" attacking them LOL

  26. The only reason I would want a wifi faraday cage is so I can prevent Comcast's crappy modem/router from polluting the frequency ranges to improve internet quality. Clearly people concerned about "radiation" are ridiculous.

Can wifi give you cancer? Honest answer is, yes, but just going outside for 1 second is a trillion * trillion * trillion times more likely to give you cancer. Just existing, even in the safest environment possible, you would have a higher chance of getting cancer than from wifi. A coconut flavored mammoth, with cotton candy fur appearing in front of you is more likely.

  27. @Linus I’m no expert but I’m pretty sure you need to ground the faraday cage for it to be effective.

  28. Wait, you're telling me people store paper in mesh, allowing it to get all dusty? Sounds like a waste of 5 bucks!

  29. But there are people who are sensitive to emfs…and been proven…people who were fine and then couldn't figure out why they felt sick…headaches etc…turns out they dudnt know things like SmartMeter or another cell thing put close to them…and that was the things that changed…so please don't say it's 100 percent safe

  30. Just get a cheap microwave instead of wasting money on a rectangular waste basket

  31. You act like a child. You didnt use a emf meter. Your mocking yourself with your ignorance.

  32. Yep, in the 50's – 70's they were also saying that cigarette was not harmfull … Maybe we just don't know… yet about wifi issues. Thanks for the show anyways !

  33. I had a use case that I had to block the wifi signal from a wireless access point no my desk (lab testing), so it wouldn't affect production wifi with same SSID. This video saved me some money or hassle of buying/returning these faraday cages!
