I love these buying experiences… I was actually fairly impressed with the better sales reps but yes, still many who faulter overall.
Do not, I repeat DO NOT order a pc from Cyberpower. If it comes to you in one piece, you might be okay. But if anything comes broken you will go through absolute hell. It took me 5 months to get my refund, and the only reason I got it was that I had to dispute the transaction through my bank. They told me i could send the pc back but they would keep the cost of the 4070ti that arrived broken! They will straight up ignore your calls and emails in the "advanced support department." The funny part is the moment I disputed the charge, they called me instantly after ignoring my calls and told me to return the whole computer and that i would pay for the shipping myself($150). I know this was long, but I wanted to share my experience to stop others from buying from this scammy company. Imagine paying 3k for a pc and it just sits there for months while I had video editing projects piling up. Needless to say, I ended up picking up a pc from Originpc, and the computer arrived a week earlier than scheduled. Has been running like a champ for the past few months now.

The issue with most of these devices though is the motherboards and cooling tend to be absolute garbage, not to mention the power supply, the case, and sometimes the RAM configuration.
HP Omen are a good example of crap you shouldn't ever consider.
I think NZXT is a fair option though.
2000 for an entire PC is less than I just spent on a single GPU lol

NZXT guy recommending the CPU upgrade actually makes a lot of sense for Minecraft. Java Edition is extremely CPU-bound, especially with mods. Every little bit helps.

Wish y'all had done MSI. I ordered a Aegis a couple days before y'all dropped this. It arrived today, somethings wrong with the gpu. Tech support was rather rude and I'm waiting for a reply from customer service via email cause they don't have a phone number????

As a call center employee I understand the "mistakes" because specially in sales there is changes every day and most call centers are outsourcing
I'm a QA at a contact center.. I can tell where every single one of them is from (on a city level) based on accent alone lmao FML
edit: 13:53 – she is 100% not. I can assure you this is how we train people to connect with the customer. She probaby doesn't even have a brother. It's funny to see it actually working on someone who's not what I'd call a noob when it comes to CS.
I did my internship with Bosch in the UK, I did a stint in their tech support department. Part of that involved giving advice on what model of boiler is best for the customer. I never realised how good their training & support structure is until seeing you do secret shopper for PCs. Even as someone with no interest in boilers or heating I was able to get support and use their systems to give advice or get someone to call back if needed.
Do you feel like the HP sales rep was reprimanded for this video because they offered a discount to a customer when it wasn’t required to make the sale?
Would be nice to do an alternative version where an advanced customer wants a fully customized system

I just looked up origin PC they dont sell cheap Desktops but they have offers for a 17" Laptop with an 3070TI for 1.399$ Or a 4060 with an current gen i9 for the same price.
They could have easily sold her those.

Saying the Alienware Gaming desktop is the best gaming desktop isn't stupid. You were calling Dell, not Alienware, so it's nice to know in advance that you're getting an Alienware branded product instead of a Dell branded product.
