For all the people complaining about uploading information to the CDC website: fine then, don't add your vaccine card to Apple Wallet, it's as simple as that. Apple Wallet requires a certificate, so you won't be able to add anything to it without one, and the CDC can't issue a certificate without your information. Thus, you can't use Apple Wallet, so paste the photo of your vaccine card into the Notes app, or some other app that accepts a pasted image. Problem solved.
