Deals for Days. Big home savings are happening now.
Passkeys != password managers. I think passkey implementations are like GPG/certificate authentication authorised by biometrics. Also works cross-platform so you can look at your phone to login on your PC. You should at least have a pin as well, but that's another issue…
we are all addicted to keyboards, it's time for the cortana challenge, unless that's really been discontinued, not the best time.
CD Project Red already switched to UE5 for Cyberpunk 2.
Nvidia: "our new gpu's are using so little bandwith we can use them for ssd's!"
Yeah they also don't outperform the cards we bought 3 years ago enough to warrant their existence 🤦♂
Phone selection should have a upper price limit say %500
Windows is basically free because of the sheer amount of data they harvest and sell.
When Linus goes defend mode he is unstoppable and somehow irritating, cool down man, nobody cares how you pronounce names.
Honestly think half the people asking for the wing want him to try it legitmately. Denki just did a video on it, and it seemed really cool for a phone you can find for 200 bucks, that still gets updates.
The "AND I HAVE 3 KIDS" sounded like Linus hit his last straw mid example
I bought my note9 after linus' video back then and besides the burn-in i have to endure, i havent found a newer one thats better and fullfills my needs without spending (again) a ridiculous amount of money.
Windows 12 is going to be a dumpster fire
I suspect the reason Microsoft doesnt try to much to stop piracy is the majority of home users will buy pre-built computers that have a Windows licence. Also the majority of their Windows income come from Corporate licences
Windows subscriptions? Lol. If that made it to consumer, people won't upgrade to that. They push that, Linux will grow in use
The correct way to pronounce somebody's name is making an effort to meet their language, and minimizing your own accent. It's both more respectful and comes across more educated. Defaulting to anglicizing a non-English name says: "I consider you low-value".
Subscription software is a great way to get rid of customers! Why should we suffer so some billionaire can have another yacht? 👎👎
I'm still on 10
I refuse 11, NEVER
My mom actually sent me news about the new Pixel and said it seemed cool
Whhahaba windows subscrition , yeah like thats gonnah work…. people will stay on windows 10 or 11, or they crack 12 or linux and steamos will get a very big user base in the future 😂
I feel I am the Dan at my current workplace. It has gotten better, for a while, I sure had problems getting the work I should be doing done.
Ditching the "Pixel" name could be a possibility if they make a major change and need something different perhaps…. especially if it's something innovative…. ya never know…. some crazy A.I. integration or cloud processing for photos or combination would be interesting…. combine with some compression and might increase transfer rates or something…. 🤔🍻🌎♥️🎶🕺📱
For some reason I expect that there won't be very many people anonymously throwing money into the chat in the form of gift cards.
Even if people say they want no strings attached, they do. They are hoping for some kind of recognition as a supporter.
Linux here I come!
Is there any way to know if any of my family had used 23andme and is now retroactively screwing me over?
For most people Linux does all they need. Free and easy. And you save money on buying a pc without windows 😊
Not a solution for everyone. But most, since 90% only surf the net, do office stuffs and read mail.
linux is getting attractive again

The fact that Linus would pay for a hypothetical "Windows Premium" just to get rid of ADS IN THE OS is just straight up hilarious. WTF is even happening here? Is this real life or just fantasy?
You better believe my personal Year of the Linux Desktop will come sooner rather than later. Windows 10 security updates stop in 2025 and 11 can do one. Only my desktop is left anyways, everything else is already Linux. I was so close to switching on Thursday when an unkillable "winget" process suddenly appeared. Search for "how to uninstall winget" and you will find responses from Microsoft employees to the tune of "You should never be able to uninstall winget, end of discussion, issue closed". Microsoft thinks they get to tell me what I can and cannot do with MY PC. That's their attitude and I'm so done with it.
The only reason I fully switched yet is that I will need some time to figure out a few workflows once I'm rid of Windows. But that's just me with my semi-complex needs. IMO "normal" people could switch immediately. Everything happens in the browser anyways. Even among Steam users, which is already a small minority of PC users, roughly 9% use integrated graphics, and another 9% use "DirectX 8 GPUs and below". The real reason nobody is switching is that "normal" people don't install operating systems. They buy computers with an OS on them, and they throw it out when it stops working good.
I would still like LTT to review the Varjo consumer VR device, the Varjo Aero. They just dropped the price permanently to $999 (and there has never been a yearly subscription fee for it). It has been out for 2 years already and still top of it's game compared to other head-sets.
I do understand why people fall for AI fakes, but it's like spam mail, you wouldn't respond to that Nigerian prince as much as you wouldn't trust any content not published via real channels.
AI fakes still don't fool me, like they are extremely easy to spot.
Android had setting of dropdown when sliding finger down the rear print sensor (setting on by default in older versions of android I believe). The screen turning off when typing (in on a call) can be related to the way phone cases trap dirt against the proximity sensor making it very fussy.
Greate thing I just started to switch to linux
Cables are hated by ads people.
