Another gimmick….magic editor.
The Pixel 6&7 were already too expensive. The miserable battery life paired with the snail's charge are ridiculous above the 500.- class. However, the scary fingerprint sensor is and always has been the knockout criterion. I never got past the setup and my wife rarely gets anything recognized in the winter months. Google Pay meanwhile is the hate – does it work? does it not work? We are now back to cash as this fingerprint sensor cannot be trusted.
Is the Pixel then garnished with a processor that is supposed to survive more than 2 updates? My 7 Pro already asked for a coffee break every time I edited a photo.
I will not let Google rip me off again. I'd rather pay more and get a usable device.

$100 less than iphone… def i would go iphone. The 6a is less than 1.5 yrs old i wouldnt say its time to upgrade when most people are still paying off that phone.. and this one is almost double the price.

Face Unlock on the Pixel 8/8 Pro isn’t that secure as the front camera struggles to unlock at night or in the dark. Forget 7 years of updates as looking at the benchmarks, I'm shocked that even the 4-year-old iPhone 12 shamed the Pixel 8 Pro. 🤭🤣
I'm not a fan of the camera AI trickery. Seems like a gimmick. But I guess some people will be into it… or you can just not use it if you don't like it. The audio filter is more impressive to me.

It's pretty much silly that the Pixel 8 has features that are locked out the box and the Pixel 8 Pro has all the features available already. Like why does the Pixel 8 Pro have a pro mode but the Pixel 8 doesn't, when both have the same chip and same main camera? It's stupid.
I like the video quality of the pixel.

Hey thanks for the review and I pre-ordered mine at Best buy where they gave me 450 for the pixel 7 which I would have kept if it hadn't gotten so darn warm all the time even when I'm home using Wi-Fi I think some people got really good pixels and some people got the bad lottery and so if my Pixel 7 was running like some people's where it's really good I don't think it's worth the trade-in right now but mine even at home it struggled to make it through a day even with just on Wi-Fi so I I'm hoping that the pixel 8 I get a better one
