Good job starforge, upgraded from no opinion to a negative one.
The best choice a gamer can make is to buy your own parts with the help of a part picker and having it built by your local PC shop for maybe like 100$, so you don't have to worry about damaging and faulty assembly
Starforge apparently not only can't calculate shipping and taxes but don't know the difference between "affect" and "effect". I don't know why but it really bothers me when companies get grammar wrong in conciliatory emails like this one. They're trying to reassure you but come across as incompetent while doing so.
So not only did they complain for nothing about the last video they actually overcharge people on the shipping hahahaha. I wonder how many people actually got their money back ..
Wow this is worse for starforge. Overcharged the customer aswell as shipping a broken pc. If that happened to me i would avoid them and tell all my friends to never buy from them. I watched the original video and i just thought the shipping was high but now with this video i feel like starforge are completely incompetent. Definitely a big L for starforge, pretty sure it will lose customers over this
I don't think the price of windows 11 should be added on the price of the systems, as no one is paying for windows anymore. On the dell I put together that system with the exact parts right at $1000 usd, paying almost $150 for windows is crazy
The 8 pin cpu supply is almost always two, 4 pin connectors locked together and unlockable back into two.

if it makes anyone feel better…. i ordered a mobo from newegg in august.. ive recieved 3 broken ones. not broken from shipping either. already opened, missing resistors, thermal paste in the ram slots, screw marks and gauges… none of them worked btw.. i did try on the test bench. i just finally got my refund for sending back the 3rd one. ordered from walmart cause it had the same one, next i try amazon lol just wanted a mobo in august so i cld get a new gpu by xmas lol

Good on you for the reupload though I feel Starforge really overdid it a bit in their first response (which I guess is why they took that response down not much later).
In any case, if both parties are happy with it, I guess why not. I just hope you guys don't feel that you have to pull too much punches.
I guess it's difficult to find the balance between offering a good review and not unnecessarily impacting a (small) company in a bad way.
Props for re-uploading video with up to date information. Glad to see all that talk of change was not just PR talk.

I don't see a reason t his video had to come down really starforge screwed up here starforge combined VAT and shipping onto the invoice and if they know there site is bugged. which means this has occurred more then once why hasn''t it been fixed yet?
