The longer Linus continues to publish videos about things he’s done, the more he damages his company image. Imagine wearing continual failures as a “badge of pride”.
If you engage with this company thinking they’re competent, you’re a schmuck.
I like how the channel has over the years become mostly providing tips on what not to do based on Linus' experiences.
I saw that coming since the 1st video of this project xD water cooling is so cool until it fails. I would probably stick to air cooling for a bit more
2 videos to go until youtube bans me from using YouTube and I start paying for Floatplane instead because I would rather support the creators I actually like to watch than the soulless multibillion dollar corporation that would rather ban people using adblocker than admit they have an advertising problem

So much talk about E-Waste and then you go ahead and run 2 pc's as servers and a bunch of servers and leave them on 24/7 and ass a very power inefficiënt water loop lol. I dare to bet 100 bucks you waste more then 1.5 times my entire household electric bill just on computers and network.

well thats its sillent is great but in winter i like to put a game on and just let it pump out heat but in the summer that would be great
Water cooling using this consumer grade crap is always a recipe for disaster.
11:47 the cooling system exists because of the computer and not the opposite, so the most intuitive is to consider the computer perspective, so I think OUT makes more sense.
I'm convinced it was done the jank way first to show people what not to do. Sacrificial PCs for content explains how some systems got skipped by a water leak…

A little bit of copper citrate is an excellent algaecide.
I put just a knife tip worth of pure, solid citric acid in my ~2 liter deionized water all copper loop. The little bit of citric acid reacts with the copper and forms a bit of copper citrate.
I haven't touched my loop in at least 2 years and still everything looks perfectly clean and nice, even though there's sunlight on my PC daily.
