Comments

  1. Xreal are the better glasses i own them when they first came out.

  2. 1:38 Imagine being anti-consumer by supporting a PROPRIETARY connecter vs USB-C.

    👎👎👎🤣🤣🤣

  3. You guys are like 2 years too late.

    Xreal Air 2 says hi.

    🤣🤣🤣

  4. It's too bad they don't have selective darkening so that only those areas that are lit up by the virtual screen are darkened by some select ratio.

A great technology, and honestly it solves a lot of problems, but it's not quite mature yet.

  5. Great now add an array of cameras like meta smart glasses and you have Augmented Reality.

  6. Do all the streaming services work through the Viture glasses? IRC the xreal have problems with at least Netflix due to DMCA?

  7. Reason why CNET is a waste of time for many years now.

Does it have 3D degrees of freedom ?

  8. I feel the rokid max should be compared it's the company that started it. And the max is considerably better. Being hdcp compliment . Bigger screen and amazing audio

  9. These glasses suck! Can't use them unless you're tethered to a battery? Disappointing…

  10. The Switch does have USB C out

  11. Plus X-real echo system is more robust and has some AR features as well and games.

  12. Nice review, but the X-Real beam solved most of the problems mentioned, plus it ads more features and a 320 inch screen. The x-real 2 pro has better audio quality, brightness, and includes electro chromic lenses, plus they're lighter and have improved balance and nose cushions. You should do your research. 😅

  13. The XReal Air 2 Pro has the electrochromic adjustment.

  14. The xreals also have a mobile adapter called the "beam" that also allows charge for the switch, ps5, etc. It even ads 3DoF, which vitrue doesnt offer.

This video is verge build a PC bad. Why even include xreal in the video (not even the latest xreal version) if you didn't do the much needed due diligence of reporting?

  15. I see AR Glasses and Headsets being very efficient and possible revolutionary in certain medical settings…
Imagine being able to do open heart surgery with the patients vitals in your distant line of sight, or even an enhanced close up image of what you're doing.

For consumers… I don't see much except for maybe Navigation via GPS guided directions… or enhanced vision or AI assisted prompts for people with low vision disabilities.

I don't want my FaceBook or messages in my eyes, I want relevant, helpful information for the specific task, when I need it. I want AR to assist me, not distract me or draw me in about the latest news or Amazon Lightning Deal.

  16. Man the 2 just came out, this is kinda useless now

  17. I love my xreal air the only downside for me is i wear prescription glasses for distance so i have to use my contact lenses in order to use my xreals. I wish it had the adjustable focal dials instead of the prescription lens attachment which gone run you $150 or more extra, Seems like the new xreal 2 pro's have same design.

  18. I do like you're review BUT I do have a few issues with it. 1st like the viture's mobile dock the xreal does have the xreal beam which you didn't talk about. Also xreal came out with the xreal air2 and xreal air2 pro (and these has the same dimming feature as the viture). This would have been a better comparison

  19. 1080p is unacceptable for me for anything with text/code/vector graphics. Quest 3 is a much better deal given the specs/price, but I don't like added weight and that I have no interest in the metaverse. After trying Xreal/Viture/Rokid for quite a while, I'd wait until these offer 4k+ resolution.
