Got a MacBook Pro through work. Honestly, the power efficiency is what makes me love it more than Windows. Still rediculously expensive for base configs. Wouldn't personally buy anything more than a Mac Mini

I get the prices are crazy, and I might be naive here but doesn’t the performance compared to previous intel models actually make them cheaper than they were with intel? E.g. you get more performance for a cheaper price?
I just want the original Thinkpad philosophy back.
Apple is just a scam that works on people who don't want to interest in pc, you can easily get even or better results with half the price of their laptops

Since they dropped egpu support in their (non-intel) chips they have become basically useless for me.
What's that about China's chip is 3.7x faster than nvidia a100 ?
I can't express how much I hate Touchscreen Laptops.

Apple continues to overcharge people for marketing with close to no innovation inside.
The only useful festire of the M2 was long battery life.
The rest is pure wasted money for 99%+ of customers.
The OS is still feeling old and childish. Maybe they do touch screens now 10 yesrs late?
