Awesome Tips How to record two of your iPhone’s cameras at the same time
DoubleTake is an app for iPhones (iPhone XS and later) that gives you access to any two of your iPhone’s cameras simultaneously. The app is made by Filmic, which already has a ton of clout in the phone videography space. It’s free and fun to play with. Now we just have to find a reason to use it. Here are CNET video producer Nic Golden Henry’s first impressions.

Thanks for watching! Here is the link to the app: https://apple.co/2U5hs9Y – It will work on iPhone XS and later. Any ideas on what kind of stuff to film with it?
App is no longer free
I'm so frustrated my iPhone 8 cannot do it! My even 2 years older Samsung can do this within the standart Camera App!!! Apple is really behind with features. I'm sure it's just a planned software issue, so people buy a newer iPhone. But I don't want a new iPhone!
dose not always work with the iphone 13 plus it has to be side by side if it does hmmm
I was watching some videos about how use your phone as a car security camera in your car but with that u can only record front of the car not back I think that is answer off my question however u still have to connect some another camera to put back of ur car π€π

Right ON for explaining exactly how this awesomeness works! I was confused after watching iJustines vid first thinking you could capture all 4 cams at one time (Apples first preview on this misled as well in my opinion) ππ»π₯π±β‘οΈπͺπ»
I have used it to post pic within a pic when I travel to a place and want to say good morning to my wife and show her where I am I think it is cool. I like it how often I use it is still in question

So kind of like HMD Nokia phones that have this kind of feature build into their camera software.
We could do this 5 years ago on Samsung's flagships… They stopped with this features as nobody where using it.. Apple fan's: Waow Apple made the best thing never made before (by Apple)… and forget this feature 6 months later, because useless.
can confirm multi cam simultaneous view with this app does not work with iphone x
Am reading comments. Samsung did first time π€¦π½ββοΈ. Shuss thereβs nothing like this
I wonder if I could use this for a birthday party where I would capture a close up of the birthday boy/girl and at the same time, get a wide video of everyone around singing. I might try that.
Tried the app its really good specially option of having two separate videos as well as combined videos being a free app

This is awesome. I miss this feature since having it back on my HTC One M8.
The note 4 and s4 had double screen recording (single mp4 file) years ago and was called a gimmick. Interesting with the wide angle though.
Ah, Samsung phones have been able to do this natively for over 5 years. So, yeah…
