  1. I'm part of the active pcpp community and I'm so happy this vid was made! JDH is a cool guy and I'm glad he was featured

10:40 caption says 2x16gb but video shows 4 slots used?

  2. i find pcpartpicker the most useful of the 3. Mainly just because of the part list compatiblity tool. its easier to just send that to a person then typing up a billion parts, that and with the paneramic filters i can just sort it by best price because the differences in some parts dont matter.

  3. As a Minecraft player I'll take the LTT system any day

  4. THE INTRO IS BACK

  5. Ive used LTT Fourm for my last 2 pc builds, very helpful folks over there. Also used the LTT pc guide to build my current rig

  6. Reddit xxStefanxx1 single-handedly took on a both PCpartpicker community and LTT forum.

  7. I actually saw BethesdaBoi pop up a couple times in my Reddit browsing but I was on the clock and unable to type out such a lengthy response. </3

  8. Reddit moment

  9. Make an ltt pc case

  10. That last build is probably more suitable for someone like me who would sometimes need to run more cpu bound workloads if the computer at the university is overbooked and plays mostly RTS and sport games

  11. love the inconsolata font you use on the video

  12. when building for my new PC I looked at a bunch of sources.
most helpful –> various youtube videos from tech youtubers
    sometimes helpful –> reddit
not helpful in my situation –> LTT forum

the difference here is that at least LTT forums you can actually ask specific questions and you should get an answer somewhat quickly. But if asking for advice on PC building, most people have their own biases and will suggest stuff based on their own criteria and not yours. Can still be a good place to sanity check your build as sometimes there might be experiences that people had with a specific part that nobody is talking about elsewhere.

  13. Why was I secretly hoping that LTT forum would be awful?

  14. Man I havent watched a video since the gamers nexus thingy. I used to watch all your videos

  15. Now do it with a 500 dollar budget and watch the world burn

  16. IMO The PCPartPicker one is the winner. The performance difference between the Reddit build and it are so low you're not going to notice. It;s also going to be the overall nicer PC, with a nicer build experience, lower temps and lower noise.

  17. Reddit thumbsup

  18. 10:43 3600 or 3200 for the RAM?

  19. yay intro!

i know you wont see this but, thankyou so much. years of watching your vids actually gave me enough knowledge about PCs that i was able to be hired at a computer repair shop. i start dec 6

  20. PCPartPicker was a godsend for me when building my ITX some components known to work for the case I used were out of stock and the community gave me plenty of options that would fit perfectly on the tight case. remember someone even gave me a list of temps for the fans he recommended me with pictures on how to install them.
