I used QC's for years and while they have superior noise-canceling, I bought a pair of Sennheiser Momentum 4's and the acoustic quality is far and away superior. Bose has this thick veil that really colors the sound which I think they consider to be their signature sound. I would call the Momentum 4's an true audiophile set, such beautiful clarity and transparency, with tight bass that's truly musical. I wear them on the bus on my commute and they block out plenty of noise, to the point where I don't notice it, particularly if I'm listening to music at a moderate volume. I had tried a previous version of the Momentum in a wired class, I think the 3, and they weren't nearly as good as the 4.

These are all low to mid tier.
It may have a great sound, but if it don't fit my XL skull, you ain't getting my money….I'm talking to you Sony and bose

There are no luxury headphones on the list like Focal Bathys, B&O H95 or the T+A Solitaire.
just got the QC Ultras with the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales on amazon. Definitely wowed by sound but wish had better preset EQs but at least you can customize that. Immersive audio nice but for battery drain yeah sucks but it definitely improves the sound. Noise cancellation I'm going to say better than Sony and used the XM4 before and aware mode amazing but not apple tier yet. Con would be not listening wired without battery as it needs battery to still be on to use as wired which defeats the point as wired as meant to old school without power and bluetooth. Still everything is great and comfort but maybe could make it extend more for bigger heads and cups a little wider for ears but it still delivers. Pricey but get on a sale like I did.
I purchased the Beats Studio beats Pro, I found them on sale for $170 during Black Friday. The other ones for were out of my price range, I'm happy with them and love the sound, they work well with both my iPhone and Pixel phone. A big difference from the $40 phones I purchased a few years which I can't stand using now.

I've got a CH-720N and I have to say that I'm pleasantly surprised at how decent it is for the price. It hits all the important aspects of a wireless headphone at £100.
Anker Soundcore Space Ones are a really good pair of budget headphones that u missed on here
