Not putting the touch ID power button on the new iPhones was a mistake. We could've had a screen with clean margins and more real estate. Touch ID is way easier when using Apple Pay, and like you said I might as well take out my card and swipe if I'm going to have hold my phone up to my face before I pay.

Yer annoying the constraints, and offered capabilities, sometimes suck on new models, iphone SE pretty much died because the battery just gave up, sad my iPhone 3 lived longer than the SE, so I was forced to get the mini, i don’t know why, no home button sucks, or no thumb print, is soo crap, and it’s annoying the way the camera is essentially always open, idk why I I got another iPhone, I might trade for something else now, phone manufacturers assume a lot now days

i dropped my phone and that fall crushed my volume button,,,so its no brainer if Apple put the touch id on the side of a phone,,as it is vulnerable,,why not place the touch id on screen,,like any other android phone,,sigh

Fingerprint on the power button on a phone is not a good idea. Might be ok for an iPad but not a phone. Look at the physical change on how you would have to hold the phone to hover over a paying device at the register. Put it back on the bloody bottom of the phone like before. How hard is it Apple???? I was about to upgrade but not now. Sticking with my iPhone 8 till they bring the print back!!!!
I will bet a full pay that if Apple bring back touch ID, they'll put it on the Power Button. Guaranteed!! It needs to go under the screen at the bottom where the Home Button use to be.

It’s called redundancy Apple engineers… Redundancy! Now how nice would it be to be able to have touch ID and two ports on the bottom!!! One to charge your phone and the other For whatever I damn well please!!!
Oh maybe you’re traveling and your iPods ran out of battery at the airport and your back up is your wired buds… oh and you got a charger iPhone and use the phone as well… Two ports to come in quite handy don’t you think!?! Come on Apple engineers think about it … That would make for an excellent iPhone… Touch ID and two ports on the bottom

My brother and I are identical twins and he can actually unlock my phone on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 plus. Face ID is a huge problem therefore, I decided to use the finger print reader
I wondered about that. I wondered what would happen with Face ID if you gained or lost weight. Does that mean you couldn’t open your phone if you gained or lost weight?
Finger prints are the most consistent since they don’t change. I use the iPad Air 4 and the finger print reader works flawlessly.
Don’t see how any other method could unlock a phone as fast as my iPad unlocks with my finger.
Oh iPhone 12.5 Touch ID, USB C. Hemp bio mass shield. Save me some time and money.
