how much did Samsung pay for Cnet? because Samsung doesn't release the blood pressure widget for galaxy watch 3. A Samsung sale man lied me, he said that it can measure my blood pressure, but it cannot. I bought it because of that function. Shame on Samsung
But why no announcements and major uprising because the ECG and Blood Pressure reading options ONLY work on Samsung phones. Can't install the needed Health Monitor app on non-Samsung phones. Bah! Super Pissed that I wasted my money, this was the whole reason I bought this watch. This kind of thing is why I dropped Samsung for Pixel phone years ago. Thought I would give Samsung one more chance, and they blew it big time. FO Samsung!

There is no Blood O2 or ECG.
Ive bought the galaxy watch 3 here in manila but it doesnt include the blood pressure and the ECG. Im so dissapointed

Samsung Active 2 was the worst experience ever! After manipulated to buy this for blood pressure + egc monitoring, these features are not yet supported and the worst is that work only on Samsung phones. Now they release a new watch with almost the same hardware and with the same problems. Don't buy Samsung Galaxy watch 3 for blood pressure monitoring and ecg, it's a nightmare!
Samsung Frontier & Galaxy watches starts off with excellent battery life but drops drastically after each software updates.
Great durable looking design but support & software sucks big time.

Though it is a nice watch I will be holding off on purchasing one until the O2 sensor, ECG, and BP all become fully active here in the USA.
I bought this watch one week ago and I can assure you that in EU, the blood pressure and ECG are disabled, there is no option to connect the watch with external Bluetooth HRM sensor and you can forget about using Samsung pay or any other apps to pay with watch using NFC. Best watch in 2020? Not a chance, I regret buying it.
I was hoping this would be my first smartwatch but without all the promised sensors enabled I'll pass.
Is that software update for the spO2, blood pressure and all that for the Active 2 as well? And the updated sleep tracking?
I watched a review where the person fell over like 20 times and the trip detection didnt work even once. They said the manual stated it only works if you're doing something active like running. Not just suddenly falling over. I wonder if this would work if you got into a vehicle accident. Whether in a car or on a motorcycle or bike. If it does, then that would be awesome. Especially if it's a motorcycle or bike and you are hurt and cant call.
MISS HAND, I got mine from the Dallas Best Buy this weekend by trading in my Apple Watch Series 5. The watch literally received an update (I checked for software update at 10:30PM CST) and it is currently installing the update. If I read it correctly then ECG, SpO2 and Blood Pressure are all part of this update. I will confirm once the update is done.
Just got the latest update today no blood pressure monitoring no H2O blood content no EKG don't see any change in the watch
