From my experience, AI often get me false or make up the references or sources from their output. I waste a lot of time to recheck the references. I think AI chatbot is not good at researching the data for academic.

It's the same process we've been using when googling anything. When I hear people saying "I cannot find what i want on Google" 90% if the time is because they are asking the wrong questions. Knowing most of the search symbols also helps 🙂
Thank you. This was super engaging and helpful. This may be a silly question but regarding AI hallucinations, I was wondering if they have reasoning skills to reduce hallucinating? My guess in they cant reason and we don't want them to for fear of unleashing Skynet but curious as to your thoughts on that topic?

I wrote an initial preference for ChatGPT and then periodically ask it to adjust my initial custom preference based on the conversations we've had. That's been super helpful.
