Anyone with this has a phone. The info is there. Mostly people also have a smart watch. The info is there.

Also, controls are on the phone, on the watch, and minimal controls are on the earbuds themselves.

If the case is in your pocket, and the phone is in your pocket … what is it that this really brings to the table?

When you’re on a bus are you going to pull out the case to see the time instead of your watch or your phone? Realistically, you’ll already be staring at your phone.

When you’re in line at the store are you going to pull the case out of your pocket to check the battery instead of using your watch or phone?

Adding a screen will raise the price. Adding a screen will drain the battery in the case faster. What is it you’re really gaining here?

What is the use case where it’s BETTER to use the case than a phone or your watch?

If you’re at a gym you want to carry as little as possible. Maybe you’d leave a phone in your locker … but the earbuds still need someone to stream music. So, maybe for a person who likes to exercise and doesn’t have a smartwatch and doesn’t want to bring their phone … but DOES want to bring a case with them. The case could store music and be a screen and controls. I feel like that’s silly and super niche .. but maybe.

Apple is going to be the next one with the screens on there Airpods Pro. But Jbl was 1st to do this

Has no one learned from the ipod nano. Make it so you can skip tracks, pause music.. or if you lose an earbud have some kind of arrow to direct you to it like a way point

This slaps next Buds Pro should have this

Why not sell that?
