Please keep chatGpt out of my car; feels like the closest thing to skynet
Please, for the love of God stop presenting decent software coding as if it's AI. It's not!
Mercedes need it man

GPT: The shop is this way.
Me: No, it's not.
GPT: Applogies, you are correct.
(Story of me using GPT for anything)
that UI looks buggy
My smart cooking appliance (delishUp) got a software update almost a year ago that enabled ChatGPT integration in a much more meaningful way, i.e., it uses the generative AI to create new recipes or answer questions about existing recipes. This integration by VW in the car seems completely gimmicky.
So, my car can write my emails for me? Neat.
this guy sucks 👎🏻
The feature becomes useless if or when the servers get shut down or the company goes under.
Edit
Apple Carplay and Android Auto already does very similar things.
Almost all of the new cars already capable with 1 or both of them.

WALL-E style society coming at us fast.
The most dumb thing i ver see come on basic assistance question no major things
Cool I used to call the self driving cars murder cars because of accidents. Now the car is going to want to murder me for real 😅.
this is not what Volkswagen needs. like have u been to a Volkswagen dealership lately? its a ghost town. no one is buying Volkswagen cars in the USA. no one is excited about Volkswagen cars. even their ev's are meh compared to what other companies are doing. their infotainment and center stack controls are laughable
To be fair, I asked my Google Assistant what CNET was and it gave me an even more detailed answer 😬
Oooo it'll be behind a paywall. But, this isn't necessary. My hands can do all this stuff faster. 😅
Can you program the car to warm up or do specific functions at certain locations? Like when I enter my neighborhood at night, it can turn on the parking lights so i don’t shine my headlights at the neighbors when backing into my house. Or have it change from eco to normal driving modes based on location or traffic?
Also, tell vw to not delete physical controls thinking a voice assistant will somehow be faster. Using chat gpt is fine, whatever, it’s a new gimmick. But back to programming, can you change the default of the warm up. You said warm up to 69 but it only warmed up your area. It’s grammatical nitpicking, but I doubt many users will be as eager to specify every detail when it’s 19 outside and they want to make sure every passenger is warm. Even with chat gpt reacting to being a bit chilly, can I set any rules for it? Sometimes i want it to be 72, will it learn when I want that?
This is how we get AI bot overlords… and ants.
More distraction to the driver. It is much simpler to turn up the climate control a click or two, instead of engaging in that non-sense conversation.
Lol. Try to be naughty, your door is locked, windows can't roll up, heater is on full blast and it's driving you to the ghetto for the full experience😂
69 degrees. Nice 😅
SONTAR-HA!
is this from 2008?
No one wants this 🤣
Hey Ida, who’s in the kitchen with you?
Great now get into an argument with your car and it will drive off a cliff lol
Uhm, Google and Siri already do that…on my phone and watch…which I already bring with me in my car. And Bixby too😉
الله الله
If you buy a dumb combustion car in 2024 you are missing out on so much.
Let me guess, you'll need a subscription for it
