Toyota and other car makers are backing off so this seems like a waste of money..
If they're doing this because they think we are contaminating less with this type of car, they are wrong. Yes, the air is going to be cleaner with the EVs, but the soil and water are going to pay the consequences. To extract all the minerals to produce the batteries, a lot of the environment is destroyed and it requires a lot of water.

I own an electric vehicle and I purchased and put on the back window a sticker that I designed. my sticker on the rear window “this electric vehicle is powered by coal, natural gas and nuclear with a minor minor supporting role from solar and wind.
