Comments

  1. I WAS GOING TO BUY A LG 77” C3 ……. Should i still buy it or wait at this point ?

  2. LG OLED is complete garbage if you’re going to use it for everyday normal TV viewing. After 3 years my 65E7P was completely ruined with color shading all over and image retention from channel logos. Worst part was LG customer service, strung me along making it seem like they were going to take care of it but refused in the end.

  3. I believe the micro lens are one of the reasons why your eyes are more tired after watching something on your smart phone. The short focus distance is obviously a well known reason, but I believe the micro lens are the other reason. Because it focuses the light. Like a laser which isn't bright can hurt your retina because it's focused.

  4. 83” G4 with MLA I am saving my money 😅

  5. 120Hz is perfectly fine, but the brightness boost for the smaller C4 models is definitely needed.

  6. So are "G" models top of the line?

  7. The zero connect box from LG is no difference with the One connect box from Samsung. You stil need that one wire for power.

  8. I bought a G3 77" late last year and love it, but, its on a super large wall, I wish MLA was available on the 83. Nice to see the G4 83 will offer it, but doesn't do me good now. The one detail missing on G3 is the remote should illuminate with movement as my 48" Sony 90K bedroom TV remote. Does the G4 83 have a auto illuminate remote?

  9. All fools think Sony not releasing OLED TVs because starting release more Mini LED TVs not everyone can afford or wants OLED so Sony trying get people are buying Samsung QLED Neo Mini LED TVs and TCL Mini LED TVs to buy Sony Bravia X90 X93 X95 mini LED TVs and Z9M 8K Mini LED tvs it's called appealing more customers 😂

  10. LG OLED TVs are not as good Samsung QD OLED TVs and certainly not Sony Bravia OLED/QD OLED TVs

  11. I can see a use case for wireless TV, for example you dont own your home or apartment so you cant run wires through the walls, and want a cable free design/no media cabinet. But the box needs good line of sight for reliable connection and probably jams up whichever band it uses with HDMI 2.1 bandwidth requirements. Wired will always be more reliable, and relatively easy for the majority of people.

  12. What’s with these “brighter” TVs? Do y’all use your TVs out in the sun or what?? I don’t even use full brightness on my 2015 Samsung. Backlight is always kept to minimum.

  13. Still W-oled, still color tints depending on viewing angles… I work with my TVs but its hard to look at a white or grey background or website when its always yellow or magenta to the sides… QD-oled stays pure white no matter the viewing angle. Otherwise I like my LGs.

  14. WOW SURPRISED by the bad info. 144hz was avail last year on s90c,s95c and all QD-oled from Samsung. Also g3 last year was not the best TV image. Sony and Samsung beat it on all shoutouts. The LG was the brightest though but it did not retain color volume at the high brightness.

  15. How much data goes through the wire? Can we find out? HDMI 2.1 is 48Gbps which is 6 gigabytes per second. I’m not sure I want 100,000 hours of that in my life going through me. Forget kids of course, none of will have any but longevity-wise how long does the consumer have?

  16. OLED trash

  17. It’s nice if you would mention some brightness in numbers, how many nits. Thnx

  18. 4000 Nits is now the new standard will LG survive?

  19. Does the G4 have anti reflection? I know the G3 did and I hope to get one for my future Home Theater Room

  20. Imagine an 80 inch oled curved ultrawide 😮

  21. 1:58 I wonder if LG has learned anything from Samsung about anti-glare for its TVs 😅📺

  22. Paid $200ish for a roku. Looks fine to me.

  23. 1:02 my guy didn’t hear about the A95L which won several awards 😒 easily beating out the G3

  24. Did LG TVs always display Apple TV+ loops in their CES show floor demos or is this the first time?

  25. Wireless tv with a wire got it 👍

  26. I won't buy another tv for at least next 10 years. Besides my lg c3 is good enough for me

  27. Can't wait to see G4 .

  28. 144htz will change everything

  29. You haven’t seen foundation on Apple TV+, I can’t recommend it enough! It’s amazing!!!

  30. but how do they sound? and no, I'm not buying a separate sound bar

  31. I miss the days when TV was a TV. No bells and whistles. Just pop to a shop, have a look about and come home with one.

  32. Still no 3D? Snorefest. Wake me up for CES 2025.

  33. Awesome. I was hoping they’d put the MLA layer in the 83” G model.

  34. will the LG G4 come with a stand this time around?

  35. Waiting for the 100”

  36. the c4 is similar to the c3?! It has gsync for us nerdy nvidia pc gamers!

  37. 1:29 Samsung had native 144Hz last year with the year before that having manual 144Hz support.

I'm using my 55" S95B as a PC monitor at this time. I got VRR corrected at 144Hz and it's pretty awesome. Using it at 21:9 for my PC and then 16:9 for my consoles. Best setup if you ask me until they make a 57" 32:9 G9 4K QD-OLED. Too bad it probably won't be this year.

  38. No 97?

  39. Will never buy a TV again that auto dims

Edit: the trolls gave up and ran away when I proved them wrong about not being able to turn off auto dimming. So my comment still stands as correct

  40. I'm more concerned about power efficiency.

  41. 1:47 LG C3 isn't high-end anymore. It's a mid-range TV as of 2023.

    LG G3 is flagship.

    LG B3 is budget.

LG A series is for non gamers.

  42. 1:01 "Best performing picture"

So you haven't seen the Sony A95L at all? 🤣🤣🤣
