I smuggled my ROG Ally into the MSI booth to compare it to their brand new handheld gaming PC, The Claw.

"not as important" lol… love that msi rep giving you some shit. its why us aussies will keep watching your videos! entertaining and informative
Tbh, I'm just not interested in any hand held running windows, sucks on deck
No Steam OS – no Buy. Idc about specs if the device is forced to windows…
That's a shame I was really hoping the rumoured 32gb of ram option was true
I assume Dennis's sponsor video should cost at least twice as much as others 🙂
I would much prefer to use Steam Deck software with these things
Shame about it being 16 gb ram
How does the iGPU compare to the 780m?
Sadly comes with Windows 11 and yet another "lipstick on a pig" overlay/UI on top (every single Windows handheld OEM is reinventing the wheel with this and usually badly) – a massive dealbreaker for me. Until Microsoft produces a fully-fledged handheld mode for Windows 11, the Steam Deck's UI will rule the roost.
People will still buy steamdeck
Jury is out for me on this. The TDPs seem a little wild and I feel like the Arc iGPU is a bit of an unknown quantity. 53 Wh battery is a good move but its only 3 more than they managed to squeeze into the deck which is a lot better on the juice. I half expect the Arc gpu won't be up to the same kind of Snuff as the Z1 Extreme, which makes me wonder how much better it would be vs the Deck given its probably also going to be using more power. And how exactly are they squaring 2 hour run time at 35W TDP with a 53 Wh battery? The deck running at 15W needs 23W total, the Ally at 35W needs about 43W total (hence sub 1 hour run times). So I am assuming this is going to be the same ball park. How do you get 2 hours run time if you're blasting through 40Wh in an hour?
Oh those "wicked cushions" look good, I wonder how much they are….
"$32 for 30c of foam and fabric"
Lol. Lmao even.
Precision screwdriver kit comes with but holder, but no bitholder for my current LTT screwdriver? I cry😢 please sell me an LTT bitholder ASAP!
The Claws only weakness is sub zero temperatures.
Loving Denis doing the ad spots.

MSI: Hold my beer…
Wow cool
Something I'll never afford but then I am ecstatic as to the prevalence of mobile performance
I always love the MSI booth videos
Console cool, screen wayyy too small, bye
So cool how they got to tell us everything about it while physically having it, but we dont actually get to see it in use
Game seems lagging on this thing…
So its not 32gb ram how it was leaked…
Wicked cushions are pretty great to be honest. Way better pads than standard on my audeze maxwell
All I'd like to know is compatibility with playstation remote play?
Lol Linus you crazy 🤣🤣
